Democratic Historic Electoral Losses Under Obama

Despite being an 'albatross' around the Democratic Party's neck, like an abused wife in an unhealthy marriage, the Party continues to profess it's love for Obama and continues to defend him.
"It is no secret that Democratic candidates across the country have struggled at the polls since President Obama took office. Just how badly have Democrats been performing? Since 2009 Democrats have lost a net of 13 senate seats and 69 house seats. Let’s put this in context. You have to go back to Eisenhower to match this many losses for a party that controls the White House with senate seats, 13 of them. In the house it’s been 100 years since a two-term president’s party suffered worse losses. That was Woodrow Wilson and the Democrats. Ninety-nine house seats.
At the state level under President Obama, Democrats have lost control of 12 governorship. Plus given up 30 state legislative chambers and over 900 state legislative seats. No administration since Nixon/Ford saw more governor and state legislative chamber losses in the president’s own party. You have to go back to Eisenhower again to find more losses of state legislatures over 1,000 back in the ’50s.”
In 2014 Democrats shunned Obama, wanting him to have nothing to do with their campaigns, yet he narcissistically injected himself into all of them anyway. Not being able to stand the idea of being the greatest Democratic Party politician / President 'evuh', he refused to stand on the sidelines. He openly and loudly proclaimed that the 2014 elections were about HIM and all of HIS policies and actions....and the Democrats, in turn, suffered an historic electoral record-setting beat-down at the polls.
As President, Obama has been the 'Francesco Schettino' to the Democratic Party's 'Costa Concordia'.
