He continues to fail with the home insurance crisis, with prices from re-insurers going up wildly because the Republicans who have run Florida for the past 25 years enabled it by removing all government restrictions, regulations. So, like the oil companies, they do what they want. Now some insurers are leaving the state.

This is a massive failure that affects all homeowners. Nikki Fried or Charlie Crist are going to be highlighting this in ads this fall. And DeSantis has no answer for why the all-republican state government hasn't fixed this.
