Interesting, Snopes does not say that the story is not correct, they simply say that they can't find the evidence.
Why not do a genetics test like Elizabeth Warren? That would put the matter to bed.
But no matter who the guy was that she married, it appears pretty obvious they married just to let him escape Somalia.
One thing we can count on, lack of evidence will not stop you from parroting it as often as possible.

Glenn Beck highlighted on Monday the controversy surrounding claims made by online bloggers in 2016, that Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) committed immigration fraud by marrying her brother to facilitate his arrival in the United States.
Glenn noted that after the bloggers' accusations hit the internet, Omar set all of her social media accounts to "Private" then deleted all of the alleged information that could have proved the claims to be true.
The Associated Press was the only news outlet to do a little digging, but the AP hit a brick wall when Omar refused to cooperate. According to Omar, all of her families birth certificates were lost during the Somali civil war.
The takeaway here is that we have a sitting member of Congress who may have committed immigration fraud, an alleged perpetrator who has deleted evidence, and an alleged perpetrator who refuses to provide explain, and has gone silent ever since.
Glenn Beck has no credibility. He is just another crazy Trump supporter. I suppose this is going to become the equivalent of Obama's birth certificate. No evidence but a lot of smoke by the far right wing.
IDK but she definitely hates Jews and Israel. That I DO know. Even Gator cannot dispute this.

Also, if Ahmed Elmi were truly Omar’s brother, why would he have needed to take the drastic step of marrying her in order to secure a path to U.S. citizenship? U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) policies qualify immigrants as eligible to apply for permanent residency status (and later become naturalized citizens) if they are the “spouse of a U.S. citizen” or the “brother or sister of a U.S. citizen.” Why would Omar commit a federal crime and risk a prison sentence (and possibly her own citizenship status) in order to provide her brother with the opportunity to apply for something he would already have been eligible to seek?

Because they deal in facts. She MAY have married her brother (as noted they have no FACTS one way or the other) but obviously not in order to obtain legal status because she could have gotten that ANYWAY if he was truly her brother

She suggested U.S. support for Israel is driven by moneyed interests (“It’s all about the Benjamins baby”) and Americans who owe “allegiance to a foreign country” are traitors. She also stated that Israel hypnotized the world. Israel is the one and only mostly Jewish nation. If that is not anti semitism I am not sure what is and people in her own party agree.

Your contention is that she married her brother in order to get legal status here.
Why would she marry her brother to gain what she would have gotten simply BECAUSE he was her brother...
