Trump was charged with falsifying business records, which was done to hide the payment made to Stormy Daniels to keep her quiet so her story would not negatively impact him in the election.

I'm still trying to get where the lefties are getting that Trump had allies in this trial in a incredibly blue state. Oh and yes the secret's out now a couple to a few of them I actually like as where I can have civil debates with them, but their reasonings don't always make a whole lot of sense like in this situation.
