Obama doesn't cover up for the AG and Secretary of State and whatever because he's not "a man of action". He does it because THEIR actions suit his purpose. I have no doubt that if he somehow acquired an Attorney General who wanted to prosecute laws Obama doesn't like, or a Secretary of State who contradicted his foreign policy, he'd be a "man of action" who fires people, too. Only a dolt thinks "Action!" is automatically a good thing, without thought to WHAT action and WHY.

Yes, it's the sign of a great manager to need to be canning campaign managers at the start of the general election. As anyone who has ACTUALLY managed people - which clearly isn't you, since your experience of management is obviously from the "yes, sir; right away, sir" side of things - could tell you, the sign of a good manager isn't how swift and strong you bring the hammer down; it's not needing to.
