These people aren't even trying to hide their plan to destroy entire industries.

EPA chief: Destroying the coal industry ?not a scary thing to do? | JunkScience.com

From the Daily Camera’s report on Gina McCarthy’s CU-Boulder speech:

But she voiced satisfaction at going to work for a president whom she believes has the right priorities on climate change, and is not buying into the “false choice” of supporting environmental remedies or boosting the economy.

“I am working for a president who gets it and is going to force the issue by taking action that is common sense, that you people have taken, that has worked out very well for local communities across the U.S., that helps advance our clean energy agenda, that helps advance our national security agenda, that helps grow jobs,” McCarthy said.

She added: “We’re going to do this this year, next year, the following year, until people understand that these are not scary things to do, these are actions we can all do, they are actions that benefit everybody, they are actions that will grow the economy, and they are actions that protect the health and safety of the planet and the individuals on the planet that we live on.” [Emphasis added]

If we could impeach obama we would not have to wait three years to undo all this damage.

Where did she say destroying the coal industry is not a scary thing to do?

She said they are going to "do this". Where is "this" defined as "destroying the coal industry"?

Here are some articles and clips about McCarthy's speech in Boulder:

EPA?s McCarthy: ?Responsible? gas production key to climate strategy - The Hill's E2-Wire

EPA boss Gina McCarthy touts Obama's climate plan at CU-Boulder - Boulder Daily Camera

She specifically mentioned developing natural gas for energy:

"Responsible development of natural gas is an important part of our work to curb climate change and support a robust clean energy market at home."

The article also says she addressed "crafting carbon emissions rules for power plants".

In the video, she says "this" includes "everything from water to how we handle solid waste". She also says "natural gas is part of the future of this country".

This thread is about coal.

This thread is premised on something that was never actually said. Don't get your panties in a twist because some truth was brought into the topic.

The motherfucker Obabble cost 100 k on my coal stock last year...

How unfortunate he has not done anything impeachable.

If Bush used the DOJ to harass the Abortion-Industrial complex due to his Christian belief, you progressives would have demanded he be executed.

But Obammy engaging in corrupt attacks on a legal industry, due to his fuck-nut, New Age Gaia worship is just dandy.

You leftists don't mind theocracy, it only matters who's god is in charge.

U.S. coal industry braces for EPA emissions crackdown - Yahoo Finance

MORGANTOWN, W., Virginia (Reuters) - The Environmental Protection Agency is due to unveil next week the first batch of regulations under President Barack Obama's new climate action plan - a carbon emissions-rate standard for new fossil fuel power plants.

If standards are as strict as the industry expects, it could be the death knell for new coal plant construction. The recent bankruptcy of Longview, a highly efficient West Virginia coal plant, is an example of the pressures already facing the industry.

Everybody who supports the EPA's attack on the coal industry --

Go to your house's breaker panel. Turn off every other breaker. You've just simulated the United States with the half of its electrical power derived from coal shut off.

Now sit there and wait for "green" energy to replace coal. Then you can turn your breakers back on.

Let us know how it works out for you.
