The Magic American-Christians-Nation, at Fox TV News, now have the famous just-released national poll showing Trump leading Clinton by three in a test race. Sanders still leads in a similar pairing with Trump(?).
So the poll actually shows something noteworthy about the likely November elections. Partisan Unity may still likely matter.

One reason for Trump’s showing is there is parity on party unity, as 83 percent of Democrats back Clinton and 82 percent of Republicans support Trump.

Meanwhile, there are GOP elected officials apologizing profusely for the Trump remarks of the recent few weeks. Trump has countered with allegations about Bill Clinton being a rapist, alleged in 1999, about 1979--or in the minds of RNC, Maybe in 1947, when he was not yet two.

And The Poll negates the negative effect of the Sanders dissent, in support of some Socialist Imperial Paradise, run by federally funded college faculty--except any maybe thought Schvartzik. There is relative lack of unity for Clinton since clearly the Democratic Primary is still on-going.

So finally the GOP sense of Partisan shows up in a poll result, and showing that Partisan ID still matters. Sanders and the band-of-not-reknowns are only recently Democrats themselves, in comparison.

That will also work before August, generally a month that happens after June--Maybe Except at Fantasy FoxTV News Reality(?).

Strange...Fox's latest poll shows Trump leading and Rasmussen's latest poll shows Trump leading....what a coinky dink

6 months out, I don't consider polls the yardstick of overall opinion.

Polling Fux and Beerfart is tantamount to a poll of the board members here ... the aforementioned media sources had Willard ahead of Obama a month before the election.. so there you have their accuracy factor.

I'm sticking to we'll see.

With the nomination process mostly over at GOP, then even Trump has abandoned Trump on the Self-Funding matter. Trump will be spending mostly money that really is not his to spend--unless he claims it is "Republican." Clinton has that in common with Sanders--spending mostly money that really is not theirs to spend--unless they claim it is Democratic campaign money. Sanders, the Democrat, claims that is corrupt(?). Socialists have not been in the forefront in recent U. S. National campaigns. More likely to him, it is actually a new experience.

People in the GOP claim that Republican campaign financing is corrupt. Now Trump claims it. Many will say they are probably right.

What the polling now shows is that the Republicans are no longer campaigning for anything in public. Closets and public restrooms have made them famous in the past, under Nixon--even telephone booths. Now they go to Amazon Prime, and get the briefcases full of bribe money delivered within two days. There is a pattern in matters of RNC finance.

But the Democrats have technically, no nominee apparent. The Republicans have a nominee apparent, not splitting what little public opinion support they have. It is shown in the polls that actually Trump is only barely able to claim a united GOP, and against the so-far contested Democratic nomination winner.
