I agree with that POV.
I agree with that POV much more than I believe any of this childish blather about assault weapons, actually.
Nobody has ever told us what an assault weapon is, for christ's sakes.
Why?
Because that way, the Ds can get votes from the antigun queers and the Rs and get votes from the gun queers\ and nothing EVER gets done!
The real solutions to spree killers aren't even being explored.
What are those solutions?
DEtermining who is NUTS and who isn't.
And there's no way that merely having a diagnosis of mental or emotional troubles is the same thing as detrmining who is apt to go on a spree of killing.
THAT's what needs be done, but I do not think we have the science to do it.
