It is one of those things that is being ignored but will show up at the door like a rabid wolf in due time. Just as the shortage of fresh water around the world is becoming a pressing concern.

Do people think these things are just going to go away? Or get worse.

They don't know about it.
News isn't the news anymore. Just like our leaders, news media is corrupted by big money, and bid money wants...no...NEEDS all of us to stay divided and arguing amongst ourselves over stupid sh*t that doesn't matter.
For the globalist/corporatist/elitist their worst nightmare is we, people like you and I, who traditionally are on the opposite "side" of these meaningless issues - start talking about things that actually matter. Namely them.
Corporatism IS our greatest enemy, all of us. No matter the side.
But the media does everything it can to keep us from talking.
