Dry holes, dry holes everywhere.....I hope they filled them all in, someone could get hurt.

Dry holes, dry holes everywhere.....I hope they filled them all in, someone could get hurt.
Georgia’s Fulton County DA couldn’t tie a crime to President Trump despite 75 witnesses brought in front of a Grand Jury.

Democrats again fail in their desperate endless witch hunt to get Trump.

Time for an update.

Republicans Kemp and Rafensperger will be leading a rousing chorus of "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" that will be sure to keep the Goober State on Trump's (alleged) mind, as the Fulton County District Attorney presents a mountain of damning evidence to a grand jury this week.

Trump's hysterical, racist raving and tantrums (e.g.,“lunatic Marxist!”) calculated to arouse his lickspittles are of no consequence in the substantive realm of the legal process. They merely signal yet another overdue diaper change.

After President Biden's victory in Georgia in 2020 had been confirmed by two recounts and certified by Gov. Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, the sore loser launched a multi-pronged effort to deny Georgians their votes, including a pressure campaign targeting key state officials.

The lying tub o' goo mewled, “So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have!"

When the Attorney General blew off the Loser, Trump pleaded with Republican lawmakers to overturn Biden’s victory. Trump's addled consigliere Rudy Giuliani regaled the Georgia statehouse with bogus fraud claims.

Trump lawyers filed meritless lawsuits that tried to overturn the Georgia results.

Trumphumps impersonated Georgia electors (16 Trumpers, including the state chair of the Georgia Republican Party) as part of a seven-state scheme to sabotage the Electoral College.

The Loser tried to cajole top Justice Department officials and federal prosecutors in Atlanta into falsely announcing that the election was “corrupt,” and that there had been "massive fraud!" despite there being no evidence of that whatever.

Trumpers tried to breach a voting system.

Trumpers tried to intimidate a Fulton County election worker into falsely admitting she was part of a massive anti-Trump fraud.

Trump and a long list of his co-conspirators will have some 'splainin' to do, and vilifying officers of the court is not countenanced under our system of jurisprudence.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney contrasted Willis's professional conduct with the “stream of personal invective" being spewed by Trump and his lawyers. “Put differently, the District Attorney’s Office has been doing a fairly routine – and legally unobjectionable – job of public relations in a case that is anything but routine,” McBurney wrote.

It'll be fun.

"Shawn Still, a Georgia Republican charged alongside former President Donald Trump in a racketeering conspiracy to subvert the 2020 election, says he signed false papers claiming to be a legitimate presidential elector at Trump’s direction."

WITCH HUNT NOT!

When Trump lost in 2023 and all fifty states had certified their slates of electors, Jenna Ellis, a white Evangelical Christian lawyer on the Trump campaign legal team, allegedly made false statements to overturn the 2020 election and solicited public officials including Shawn Still (see post 08.25 #233 ) to unlawfully appoint presidential electors. She, Trump and 17 others were charged last week in a sweeping racketeering indictment for alleged efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in the state of Georgia.

Trump, Ellis and Still are alleged to have conspired to disenfranchise the voters in Georgia by committing fraud and pressuring public officials to commit fraud for the purpose of keeping Trump in the Presidency for a second term.

The arrests of Trump, Ellis and Still & the others come only after prosecutors in Georgia convened a special grand jury to present the facts and evidence against the existence of laws to determine if Georgia laws were broken, The Special Grand Jury voted to arrest on every single charge. Then prosecutors had to present the evidence and facts to the regular grand jury and the voted to arrest on every single count every target of the investigation.

MAGA, celebrating the beautiful and perfect phone call and mugshot, is not thinking beyond the putrid atmospheric bubble of the cult their minds are trapped in
“former federal prosecutor Ankush Khardori stated Trump's key defense against his four indictments is falling flat on its face with voters who aren't part of his rabid MAGA base.
As Khardori explained, any chance the former president has of returning to the Oval Office would require him to appeal to independents and undecideds and a growing number instead believe he belongs in jail.
"The survey results suggest Americans are taking the cases seriously — particularly the Justice Department’s 2020 election case — and that most people are skeptical of Trump’s claim to be the victim of a legally baseless witch hunt or an elaborate, multi-jurisdictional effort to 'weaponize' law enforcement authorities against him," he wrote.
To make his point, he noted, "Fifty-nine percent of respondents — including nearly two-thirds of independents — said that the Justice Department’s decision to indict Trump in the 2020 election case was based on a fair evaluation of the evidence and the law.
He then predicted, "It is reasonable to assume that the media coverage and the facts revealed at any trials would, on balance, be unhelpful to Trump as a political matter, even if he manages to avoid convictions. Criminal defendants generally do not come out looking better at the end of highly publicized trials, even if they get off at the end of the day."”

I never once said the election was stolen.
I'm not condemning Trump for saying the election was stolen when democrats have been saying the same thing for decades.

In reference to your first quote, does that mean that you understand that after all 50 states certified their slate of electors, and sent them to the Congress and the senate and the governors of each state and the national archives on December 14, 2020 it means that the 2020 trump:ppence campaign had no more constitutional or legal avenues to prevent the winner of the election from being inaugurated on January 20, 2021?

Do you understand that Congress changed the Electoral Vote Act for a reason - it was ambiguous? If it was so cut and dried, there would be no reason to change the law.

If it was so cut and dried, there would be no reason to change the law.

Please confirm that your post #44 is an affirmation of your conclusion that Trump’s lawyers failed to convince you that BIden stole the election by massive outcome determinative fraud in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, New Mexico, and Arizona?

And was your conclusion the election was not stolen set prior to December 14 2020 when all fifty states sent certified slates of electors to Washington DC,

Yes, I understand that Congress changed the Electoral Vote Act to clarify VPs role on Jan6 when counting the votes was ambiguous?

Please explain how in your opinion the later change offered Trump an opportunity to legally interfere and stop the transfer of power from his administration to the administration that was certified by each state won the 2020 election.

The law was changed because it was ambiguous. Therefore, Trump was only doing what he thought he had the power to do, since the law was ambiguous. A new set of electors was ready to go IF necessary. It never became necessary and was never done. Please confirm you understand this.

Jack Smith just opened the door to investigating election fraud. Jack Smith has to prove that Trump does not believe the election was stolen, Trump's defense is proving the election was stolen.

rhdyptrt.#250
Trump doesn't even need to prove the election was stolen. •••• All he has to do is prove there's no way in hell the Defense can convey he knew it wasn't. •••• Which is made eminently more complicated by the fact that there is a plethora of compelling evidence that it actually was....but I digress.)
None of the indictments against criminal defendant Inmate No. P01135809 out on bail requires prosecutors to prove any of that.

P01135809 knew that the election was stolen due to outcome determinative election fraud on behalf of the certified winner.

Pence knew they lost the election and he is the witness that makes it matter what P01135809 believes when he pressured Pence to commit fraud against the United States Government.

The fact that Trump believed he won the state of Georgia just makes it worse for making that recorded phone call because he was bypassing the legal system and pressuring state official to find 12,000 votes and be pronounced the winner.

There is no law that says it is illegal to call state officials and pressure them to find 12,000 votes.

Hell, without making a phone call you democrats found 100's of thousands of votes after midnight on election night.

Counts 28 and 38 Against Trump so when the phone call is brought in you need to rush down to Atlanta and straighten the entire legal system in Georgia out.,

  • Count 27 - Filing False Documents
  • Count 28 - Solicitation of Violation of Oath by Public Officer
  • Count 29 - False Statements and Writings
  • Count 38 - Solicitation of Violation of Oath by Public Officer
  • Count 39 - False Statements and Writings
Can’t wait to see that!

Post the law violated, you are posting accusations
Post the entire count as well, got to read how it is spelled out, the title has nothing to do with what they are fabricating

No. Sour grapes aside, the reality is that there are no "Democratic Dictators" charged with crimes who are inciting crazy people to threaten attorneys general, secretaries of state, special counsels, district attorneys, judges, and their families.

yet, the Democrats have sent death threats to Supreme Court Justices.

But this past week's late-night incident at Justice Brett Kavanaugh's suburban Washington home, where authorities said a man armed with a gun and knife threatened to kill the justice, reflects a heightened level of potential danger not just for members of the nation's highest court, but all judges.Jun 11, 2022

What Democrats are you reminiscing about as your whaddaboutism to distract from the Trump goons threatening public servants and their families?
