Greatest economy in US history!

You just disqualified yourself. Trump in no way inherited a strong economy. Not true whatsoever

Okay, how many consecutive months of positive job growth did the Grifter inherit?

Did he inherit positive GDP growth or negative?

Did he inherit rising or declining unemployment?

Answer those.

So, you never heard of economic cycles?

Yes, I have....

Then I can only assume that you asked how many consecutive months of positive job growth Trump inherited, to highlight the accomplishment of Trump in keeping it going and going?

RIght?

I pointed it out because its true. The consecutive months of positive job growth as at 65 when trump inherited the Obama economy.

That sentence is one that republics seem to want to deny.

NOt at all. It was part of my initial post. AN aging and weakening upswing, that Trump reinvigorated.

Liberal Denial of Obama worship...how unexpected.

You have outdone yourself.
Compared to you it didn’t take much.

How very douche-bag of you.
Elaborate...
There are many fools who worship Reagan, GW...
There are many fools who worship Clinton, Obama...

I don't see anyone worshiping anything.

Can you point it out?
Your article is discussing a period when US companies were still exiting the US in waves and we were bringing in as many Visas and Trespassers as possible.
The context is not applicable.

With the unemployment rate this low, there should be upward pressure on both interest rates and inflation. There is neither.

That tells us that something is wrong. It may be the participation rate, it may that the wage increases are uneven, it may be underemployment, it may some some combination therein, it may be something else.

I know that's too complicated for some, especially since many really don't understand this stuff beyond the one-sided partisan "information" to which they expose themselves. But something is still misfiring.

Trump was blowing hot air and it appears many here are buying it.
.

IMO, it is because we are playing catch up, for decades of poor national policy that has artificially retarded wages.

My Semi-Liberal friend, you will never, ever give Trump credit for anything.
I pay no attention to tweets, I pay attention to Policy and results.
I don’t need to listen to Globalist Publications telling me that disaster is always 6 months away as long as Trump is in charge.
Those same wind bags said we would have a market crash day 1 of a Trump presidency.
Of course, you know this already.
Fortunately, I wasn't expecting a straight answer.
.
Based on your posting history, you can’t handle an honest response.
You're welcome to dispute the facts I provided, you're welcome to explain the facts I provided.

Unless you think they're "fake news".

Whatever you'd like.
.
I prefer facts in context.
Ds and Rs present facts as stand alone context...
In other words, sound bites for people with low IQs.
Great.

So what do you think when Trump tweets that this is the "greatest economy in US history"?
.
How did Trump hurt you by saying it’s a great economy? Lose your doctor? Taxes go up? Your home loan default?

How exactly did he harm you or any other American?

Trump on Twitter this morning, regarding being behind Biden in a Fox poll:

....the fact that I have gone through a three year vicious Witch Hunt, perpetrated by the Lamestream Media in Collusion with Crooked and the Democrat Party, there can be NO WAY, with the greatest Economy in U.S. history, that I can be losing to the Sleepy One. KEEP AMERICA GREAT!

... on the morning a 2.1% GDP is announced, we've exploded the deficit in a non-recessionary period, and the Fed is standing by to support a flagging economy by dropping interest rates.

I dunno, folks. Trump supporters, in all seriousness, what goes through your mind when your President calls this "the greatest economy in US history"?

Seriously.
.

I dunno about greatest ...its going ...it could be worse ..we could be western Europe

I have no sympathy for the Fed which is backed by the very same firms that want cheap foreign labor.
These financial firms are making money hand over fist.

I consider this to be huge. It is telling that these people are the ones that have been the strongest portion of Trump's base, ie the "less educated". It seems despite their lack of education, they could figure out who was actually going to look out for their interests.

Low-Income Workers See Long-Awaited Wage Gains

"The lowest-paid Americans saw weekly earnings grow more than 5% in the second quarter from a year earlier, more than the national median gain of 1.7% for all workers, according to a quarterly survey of households produced by the Labor Department. Workers with less than a high-school diploma saw their wages grow almost 6%, and younger workers’ pay grew almost 3%.

“In a recession they are often the first to be laid off, and in the recovery they can be the last to be rehired,” said Harry Holzer, professor of public policy at Georgetown University. “It means they are the ones who benefit particularly in the current labor market.” "
Been a lot of min wage increases...

Studies I seen show that that is part of it, though less than a third of the rise.

You made a claim about Trump inheriting a strong economy.

My response stands.

Trump inherited a weak and aging upswing, and reinvigorated it.

THe increase in wages for the lower income workers, is especially impressive.

I don't know that hte deficits were dropping, but yes, them rising is a fair point.
GDP has increased slightly. Deficits have massively increased. Unemployment is down, but labor force participation is still way down. Wages have not increased much. If trump inherited a weak economy, it is still weak.

Errr, my point was about the rise in wages for the most vulnerable of workers.

That is very impressive.
And much of it from increases in min wage. Care to share a study? How much higher is it than under Obama?

I posted a link to an article on this above. The numbers included in the post, are on the annual rate of increase for the lower income workers.

My concern is to compare this to decades of stagnation. I don't really care about it vs Obama, but those numbers might be out there, if you want to look for it.

I can't think of anything. But of course, I didn't make such a silly claim.

My interest is in the psychology of those who obediently forgive him his comical hyperbole, willful ignorance, intellectual dishonesty and childish behaviors.

That's all. You don't need to get so defensive.

Give these wage numbers. Every wage report historically very low given unemployment. Stop making shit up.

Yes, but in large part because states that raised their MW laws, not because of any policy the trump administration enacted.

Wage growth for low-wage workers has been strongest in states with minimum wage increases

You are some piece of partisan work.

What does wage growth have to do with long term employment?

Agreed. Republicans are stuck fighting the "last war" when it comes to tax policy, imo.

There is more important battles to be waged than that one.

Those numbers don't make a lot of sense to me, they talk of lower paid workers getting more, but the graphs shown show no breakdown by level of wages. Also, a larger 5 year period of time, which seems designed to HIDE sudden, and dramatic change, if there is any, not show it.

So Trump said something you disagree with and impacts zero Americans or anyone else in the world, yet you ramble on for hours about.

Talk about comical hyperbole, willful ignorance, intellectual dishonesty and childish behaviors. You win the Gold.

Your TDS is really hurting now that it’s self evident the Left lied about Russia for three years.

“Wage growth for low-wage workers has been strongest in states with minimum wage increases”

Fantastic comedy on their headline.

But fact is, number of jobs available have gone down and hours have been cut.
