Greece votes on whether to dump austerity, take on lenders

Your version of the euro is retarded, as expected.

And no, rich people don't pay enough taxes, remember? Your taxes will be going to bail out the rich hedge fund managers who own Greek bonds. lol

Oh, I think those Hedge Fund assholes who were looting Greece are going to take a bath when the Rich of Germany don't want to pay them.

I know you are shitting your pants that at least one country has figured out your sort are nothing but parasites who contribute nothing.

.

This notion that 17+ sovereign countries could keep their fiscal shit together enough to keep one currency alive and vibrant is one of the mysteries of the 21st century.

Politicians are nuts.

.

Well, the Euro was a horrible idea from the start. But letting Greece in was a horrible idea, because it's really a third world country. They fudged their economic numbers and then bankrupted themselves sponsoring the 2004 Olympics.

Not going to happen, JoeBitter131. They've already made a ton of money. Then, they're going to dump the bonds onto the ECB and IMF. And if things get really bad, the Fed will open a swap line to exchange euros for dollars.

And you'll pay for it!

Eventually, they'll raise taxes to pay for it on the rich. YOu are just shitting your pants today that Democracy Broke out somewhere in the world.

This could be a trend.

Well, that's been happening since 2008, guy. YOu all have been looting the public.

Greece is the first country to say, "Enough".

And you are crapping yourself more will follow.

What color is the sky in this fantasy world you live in?

The rich always win.

We will see if the rich allow Greece to stay in the eurozone.

That's what the Bourbons and Romanovs thought.

As did so many other leftards like yourself failingly thought so often for the past 100 years.

Guy, I'm a Republican.

I just realize that as a famous Republican once said, "The problem with Capitalism is Capitalists... they're too damned Greedy".

This is a case in point. Greece was floundering, so let's try to loot the country for everything we can.

Oppressed Greek workers need to unite for social justice.....
Proletariat arise against mean, rich, looters.......lmfao

I can't imagine the German tax payers standing for throwing good money after bad. This is more ammo for the UKIP party in the UK to get out. Allowing underperforming economies in the same pool as successful economies was a bad idea from the start. Greece could turn out to be the sneeze that triggers an avalanche.

Mass Delusion among Greece’s Far Left
The recently victorious Syriza party wants Greece to skip out on its debts.

Mass Delusion among Greece s Far Left National Review Online

This isn’t just about questions of finance and debt — it’s about the nature of society and the underlying role of personal responsibility. The undeniable, proven-by-history truth — a truth that the far Left in Europe and America ignores — is that socialism is a cause of economic suffering, not its solution. Greece’s economic difficulties (25 percent unemployment) aren’t caused by capitalism; rather, the blame lies squarely on the Greek governing class that for many years constructed an inefficient and ever more bloated state, with no one to pay for it. Instead of admitting this truth, Greek voters have taken two easier options: Blame Germany, and pretend things will get better.

Most of the Greek bonds are held by the ECB and the IMF. American taxpayers fund the IMF. Greek bond holders are going to take a haircut. Thus, the IMF - and US taxpayers- are going to take a hit.
