CDZ Guns Tanks and Nucklear Weapons. The second amendment.

you have to join a "well regulated" militia to bear arms.

join the national guard

otherwise your just a criminal with guns
Every single male age 17 to 45 by US Law is a member of the Militia.

Come on. This isn't what's meant by that language and you know it.

It has always been like that.

No, it isn't, and it never has. Selective service in no way constitutes "well regulated".

every american is allowed to have arms in a well regulated militia.

im paraphrasing

what kind of arms is an american allowed to have ?

rifles ? tanks ? nuclear weapons ?

hey wait. it said "in a well regulated militia"

so does that mean that americans aren t allowed to have arms outside a well regulated militia ?

what do you think ?

what are arms ? a muzzleloaded musket ? or a laser guided Assault rifle ? or a nuclear bomb ? are americans allowed to have nuclear bombs ?

and do they have the right to bear this arms outside a well regulated militia ?

Not again... Criminy this gets old.

And finally, the Unorganized Militia.

§ 127A‑7. Composition of unorganized militia.
The unorganized militia shall consist of all other able‑bodied citizens of the State and of the United States and such all other able‑bodied persons who have or shall declare their intention to become citizens of the United States, who shall be at least 17 years of age, except those who have been convicted of a felony or discharged from any component of the military under other than honorable conditions.

You can see from the quoted paragraph that some changes were made to the law governing the Unorganized Militia. This should tell you that if something else was intended, they could have very easily changed it. Unfortunately for those anti-gun types who dispute that the Militia exists, and that it includes much more than the National Guard, this law confirms that each and every able bodied adult citizens of North Carolina, minus a few exceptions, are members of the Militia. Note carefully that it does not restrict militia membership to men. That means that women are also members of the NC Militia. Yay equality!

Its historically accurate when they we're writing the constitution..

Seriously you never heard of the swamp fox?

Francis Marion (c. 1732 – February 27, 1795)[1] was a military officer who served in the American Revolutionary War. Acting with the Continental Armyand South Carolina militia commissions, he was a persistent adversary of the British in their occupation of South Carolina in 1780 and 1781, even after the Continental Army was driven out of the state in the Battle of Camden.

Due to his irregular methods of warfare, he is considered one of the fathers of modern guerrilla warfare and maneuver warfare, and is credited in the lineage of the United States Army Rangers. He was known as "The Swamp Fox".

More the swamp fox organized a militia when the U.S. military got beaten..

After the loss in Charleston, the defeats of General Isaac Huger at Moncks Corner and Lieutenant Colonel Abraham Buford at the Waxhaw massacre (near the North Carolina border, in what is now Lancaster County), Marion organized a small unit, which at first consisted of between 20 and 70 men and was the only force then opposing the British Army in the state. At this point, Marion was still nearly crippled from the slowly healing ankle.

Wrong as usual the LAW states that every male aged 17 to 45 is in fact a member of the Militia. You do not like it because it destroys your ignorant rant about no militia. Well regulated in 1787 meant well maintained and referred to weapons and equipment that the militia would provide. It did NOT mean well trained or run by the State. Through out history militia has been the body of the citizenry. Hell the same law clearly states that there are two parts to the militia the organized part, the National Guard, and the unorganized part the body of the citizenry.

Every male aged 17 to 45 must have access to weaponry in line with what the military can consider useful. that means AR-15 and all semi automatic rifles with detachable magazines. And the Supreme Court so ruled in 1939 that those weapons are in fact PROTECTED by the 2nd Amendment.
