Harry Reid is a horrid little man

My initial high hopes for him took significant hits on several other occasions.

Thanks for the clarification. Not sure I understand how that would trigger the burning need to start a thread but I'm hardly one to talk on that front. ;)

Him calling peoples' experiences untrue. Actually using the word "lies". He is a liar. He is slimy. Just because people with money gave people without money a voice in an ad, that doesn't make what we're experiencing "untrue". He was part of the antidemocratic machine which created legislation which was so bad they had to lie to pass it, in the face of nationwide opposition so strong that liberal Massachusetts elected a Republican senator to go to Washington to try to stop it.

Thank goodness for my obstructionist legislators representing me in Washington to stand up to that troll.

I just pulled up the headlines for the day. This is making shock waves throughout the morally oppressed segment. What? Are you on the rightie speed-dial for talking points or something?

Harry Reid is creepy. Even democrats beg him to quit. Go away.

He is an embarrassment to the Senate, to the nation, to the LDS church, and to the human race.

funny how good his kids turned out. Every single boy went on Mormon missions
and all the boys and girls graduated from Brigham Young University.
Rather interesting paradox

pretty easy for reid to win an election when you own Las Vegas and Sharon Angle owns
pork van, nevada

He is part of the Alzheimer's Caucus. His staff tells him what to say and do so that the side deals they have with lobbyist get closed. McCain is another member.

Geriatric patronage robots in diapers.

If Obama stops short, Reid gets shit on his nose.
Reid says the most outrageous and incredible things, I have no idea how this guy could hold a US Senate seat.
-He just makes things up as he goes.
-Reid cares only for his partisan ideology.
-Has never had the best interests of the people in mind. Only his own political carrer.
-Is a poster child for term limits.
-Is as far left radical liberal as one can be.

OK, those are his good points. Now what do you think are his bad points?

He is loved in Nevada. In fact, in the last election in which he ran he was endorsed by the Nevada Republican Committee. When the opposition party endorses you, you have to be doing something right. Of course, the fact that the person running against Reid was Sharon angle might have had something to do with their decision. angle was a bigger digbat than Bachmann.

Loved? No. Tolerated. Not because Nevadans agree with his left wing moonbat ideology. Reid gets reelected because of his stature in the Senate.
That stature insures Reid can send money home to Nevada. Nevada is a small state with a lot of clout in the Senate Majority Leader. The voters of Nevada know this and keep voting for Reid.
Should the democrats lose the majority in the Senate, Reid loses his position and the voters of Nevada will then no longer have any use for him.

Somehow it escapes notice tha Nevada was the state most severely punished by The Great Obama Recession.

I know this is going to hurt you, but where's your facts, Jack?

You are very consistent in your posting about one thing: lack of proof of anything you say.

From Reuters:

* South, West hit the hardest; Northeast fared best

* Study measured population's income losses

* Poverty, college degrees, unemployment top factors

* Economic insecurity on the rise since 1986

By Susan Heavey

WASHINGTON, June 21 (Reuters) - The nation's recent recession had a "broad and deep" impact across the United States, but certain states such as Florida and California were particularly hard-hit, according to a report released on Thursday.

The study, led by Yale University political science professor Jacob Hacker, found that while the U.S. Northeast was largely spared from the economic fallout in the years after the Great Recession, the U.S. South and West were hit harder.

Researchers said their study is the first state-by-state look at the how the downturn affected economic security and household incomes. It was paid for by the Rockefeller Foundation, a global nonprofit organization focused on relieving economic inequality.

States in the Midwest, a large industrial hub, saw a slower economic erosion from 2008 to 2010, the findings showed. The recession officially ran from late 2007 to mid-2009.

"No part of the nation was spared. Nonetheless, some states were hit particularly hard," the report said.

Hacker's team ranked the recession's impact on states by developing a measurement tool based on government economic data, called the Economic Security Index.

The index represents the percentage of the population who experienced a substantial financial loss from one year to the next. Specifically, it shows the share of Americans who experienced a financial loss of 25 percent or greater due to either a decline in income, an increase in medical spending or both.

States with the worst economic losses from 2008 to 2010 were Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas and California. Among the states with the least impact were Vermont, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Maine.

Cut the bullshit.
Nevada was one the most hard hit states during the recession.
In fact Housing values fell some 60% from the mid 2000's through today. Home prices have only recovered at a slow pace.

Here's a stellar idea. Know what you are talking about and do use more than one source to support your claims.
Now, is any of this directly tied to the actions of Harry Reid? Probably not.
But as you libs have Bush as your fall back position, evoking his name anytime Obama's policies are questioned or criticized, you must expect the party in the majority to take the heat for the crappy conditions.
Tough shit. Deal with it.
Don't argue with me. You are wrong. Period.

Yes, he's an embarrassment to many people in this state. We could have been rid of him too in 2010 had the GOP not nominated that screwball Angle to run against him.

Screwball or not, there's a lot of evidence that that election was rigged.

Sure was. Those hanging chads in Florida....tsk. Oh, sorry, that was 2000.

bush-gore-hanging-chad-florida.jpg

Oh please. Those were democrat controlled districts.
BTW genius. The only way the hanging chad condition could be recreated was with multiple cards in the slot of the machines. Meaning, those democrat districts had votes getting through the system that should not have been permitted because there was a real possibility that each person was able to cast more than one ballot at a time.
Given the democrat majority makeup of those Florida districts, one must conclude ALGore got more votes than he should have.
Now, what does this have to do with Harry Reid and his radical liberalism and outright lies?

So what does that tell you? Get rid of the extremists in the Teaparty and you may start winning elections again.

As long as the extremist libs are dispensed with, we have a deal.

Anyone remember the movie "People Will Talk"?

If you do, I bet you can guess which character Harry Reid reminds me of.
