Fauci was basing his opinion on what was known about the coronavirus at the time. However things change as more is known about the virus. Clearly wearing masks at least slows it down. Two hairdressers who had coronavirus wore masks and none of their clients tested positive. It is sad that the simple act of wearing a mask has become political. People are so selfish that they don't care about other people. During World War 2, Americans made sacrifices to win the war. Apparently that spirit no longer exists in Trump supporters.
