Most states (if not all) offer free ID"s for those who don't have the money for one. They have money for wine, they have money for dope, they have money for cigarettes and pop tarts, but they don't have money for an ID.

They are lazy and will vote only if it's convenient enough. To put some effort into voting, many will say to hell with voting and just stay home. This is what really frightens Democrats.

This is why I suggested earlier that we have a national consumption tax. All proceeds go to the national debt only. Let's say 10% of every dollar you spend. This way, people might start paying attention to all the spending and where our money is going. However when the top 20% of wage earners in this country are paying 85% of our income tax collections, the rest of the people don't care.

Your proposed cuts (10% x 3 years) would result in $1.08T in unspecified cuts (not $400b). Since Congress NEVER cuts anything, the only workable solution appears to be raising the top rate 7% or so gaining about $450b a year, and adding a new 3% Fed sales tax raising about $1.0b a year. That gets us about $500b to pay on the $21T Debt. I have a solution, you have bullshit. Otherwise, the "no action" option means that the Federal government goes bankrupt in about 2027....

Obtaining an ID is not that difficult. My mother has a state ID and she never drove a car in her life. It takes the slightest effort; effort lazy welfare people won't invest.
