Obama had the best opportunity since MLK Jr. to do GREAT things for black America. He could have told black America the truth, that they are responsible for their own lot in life. He could have affected great cultural change throughout black America. Instead, he abandoned them. We currently have a 5-4 Conservative Court. We have that because Republicans don't care about norms or traditions. They want power...and the SCOTUS imparts power. There are several Justices that will be replaced over the next 5 years and Republicans can shape the Court in ways most of us will not like....for DECADES.

Workers rights...healthcare...women's rights and much more hang in the balance
