I don't want dreamers deported, but ...

I'm sorry, why should these illegals jump to the front of the line ahead of honest legal immigrants who have been waiting years to become citizens?

All that 'useful and productive members of society' jazz sounds like propaganda to me. WTF is wrong with everybody?
It's not propaganda to call them all rapists and drug dealers, "and I assume some are good people too."? The irony is they run counter to the breibart speak. Yes, they got public education and probably food stamps and Medicaid.

But that isn't to say we want open borders. But the xenophobic racism is not the reality.

He didn't say that so your argument is invalid.
Ohhhh easypeasy lied as usual. LOL

I'm sorry, why should these illegals jump to the front of the line ahead of honest legal immigrants who have been waiting years to become citizens?

Because they were brought here by their parents. It's not like they sneaked across the border alone in their el bandito suits, plotting fiendishly to milk the U.S. for every penny.

And I agree both sides attempt to use them for their own propaganda

America already has way too many Racist Cretin Democrats. We don't want more.

Brown Berets; “Go back to Boston! Go back to Plymouth Rock, Pilgrims! Get out! We are the future. You are old and tired. Go on. We have beaten you. Leave like beaten rats. You old white people. It is your duty to die … Through love of having children, we are going to take over.

Los Angeles City Council. “They’re afraid we’re going to take over the governmental institutions and other institutions. They’re right. We will take them over … We are here to stay.”

Professor University of Texas; “We have an aging white America. They are not making babies. They are dying. The explosion is in our population … I love it. They are shitting in their pants with fear. I love it.”

Chairman of the California Democratic Party, “Remember 187 — proposition to deny taxpayer funds for services to non-citizens — was the last gasp of white America in California.”

California Coalition of Hispanic Organizations and California State Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare under Governor Jerry Brown, also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Bill Clinton, “California is going to be a Hispanic state. Anyone who doesn’t like it should leave.”

Mexican Consul General , “We are practicing ‘La Reconquista’ in California.”

Professor Loyola Marymount University; “We need to avoid a white backlash by using codes understood by Latinos …”

Racist Univison reporter Jorge Ramos: America Is ‘Our Country, Not Theirs’

They are here illegally so they are not in good standing with the law. How many of them are using stolen identities? How many are in gangs?
There is no other crime where a child gets to keep the proceeds of parental crime?

I don't want them deported. I want them executed.:banana: Call it "late-term" abortion (which I am for, by the way).

and, a hard-working and productive rapist is still a rapist. A hard-working and productive kiddy porn addict is still a kiddy porn addict.

A hard-working and productive law breaker is a law breaker. Their work ethic and value to society is irrelevant.
You voted for trump, right?

Oh ... one of you people.

Being undocumented is kind of a unique crime, so ...

Stop trying to tell me what good and productive people they are. I don't give a fuck. It's not even relevant.
That's a perfectly reasonable point.

So, as we move on from that, we need a bi-partisan approach (so that we're not knee-jerking back and forth depending on which party has the most power) that satisfies as many Americans as possible, recognizing that we're not all going to get what we want. That could look something like this:
  1. Recognize that deporting all illegals simply is not going to happen
  2. Deport criminals who are here legally
  3. Legalize those who are here, and put them at the end of the line for citizenship
  4. Seal the borders (how about we bring home soldiers wasting time and money in the Middle East for that?)
  5. Start enforcing aggressive employment law with American businesses who hire newly-arriving illegals
  6. Convene a North American security summit with the specific goal of addressing and ultimately solving the REAL problem here, the fact that so many people south of our border are so fucking desperate to escape the shit holes in which they live
Those three things would be a great start.
.
I would support that if ALL of that was part of the deal. Piecemeal is what the democrats want and is nothing but more of the same bullshit. They are fighting to keep their voting base, so they will not approve that plan.
Well, the problem is that these politicians are just paralyzed, they're afraid to do anything bold, because they're afraid to cooperate too much with the other side.

The Democrats don't want to give Trump a big win.

The Republicans are afraid to be primaried if they give away too much.
.

What are you smoking, THOUSANDS of underage illegals flooded across the border alone each month under Obama.

There is no other crime where a child gets to keep the proceeds of parental crime?

National Geographic in their documentary found that many were recruited into gangs before they left Obama's holding facilities, and many of the girls were headed for prostitution, a price demanded by the Mexican drug cartels for allowing them to cross the border into the US. These bleeding heart liberals are enabling the exploitation of underage illegals.

You better get your lily white ass out to the border then, son. Start capping those little invaders 'afore they make it 'cross the Rio Grande.

All that 'useful and productive members of society' jazz sounds like propaganda to me.

WTF is wrong with everybody?

we have a president who boldly slings divisive red meat rhetoric to feed a deplorable base of proud bigots.

that is what's wrong with everybody... 'fear and loathing' is being spread in our communities.

>> "When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. ... They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people," Trump said in his announcement speech. June 2015.

>> Trump has been roundly denounced, by the left and right, for saying U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel may be biased against him because of his Mexican heritage.

>> 03/10/17 "Deferred action may be revoked anytime especially when someone commits a crime or poses a national security of public safety threat," ICE wrote Thursday in a quick succession of tweets. "Deferred action does not prevent DHS from executing a removal order."

Who are "your people"??

Think about it before you respond.

White people aka people of european descent.

Ah ... okay.

But just so you know, there are a lot (probably the majority) of white people who wouldn't spit on you to put you out.

I think the president is doing the right thing, by the book at least. Unfortunately, congress is useless and will probably fail these kids.

there was no reason for trump to proceed in such a threatening manner at this time. yes, the policy stood to be legally challenged because it had been implemented via executive order, but potus could have lead to that outcome in a decent manner that did not leave these people so abruptly vulnerable and scared to death for their fate.

NOW mr trump has painted himself in a corner...

if congress fails to come to terms, it will then be up to HIM to use an executive order to save them. (or not!)

so he forced the issue in this manner unnecessarily just to appease jeff sessions and the bigot states who threatened to challenge in court.

Late Tuesday night, he vowed to “revisit” his decision to scrap the popular Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program if Congress does not come up with a permanent fix within six months, confounding immigration hard-liners who had been celebrating victory hours before.

Earlier in the day, Mr. Trump had scrapped his predecessor’s program sparing younger illegal immigrants from deportation on the grounds that a president does not have the power to take such action by himself. He then put the onus on Congress by giving it a six-month deadline to “fix” the program before it would expire.

Then, barely eight hours after his decision was announced, the president went on Twitter with a message that completely undercut both positions in just under 140 characters. “Congress now has 6 months to legalize DACA (something the Obama Administration was unable to do),” he wrote, using the initials for the program. “If they can’t, I will revisit this issue!”

White House officials offered no immediate explanation about what Mr. Trump intended by the message or how he would revisit the issue in six months.

To Allies’ Chagrin, Trump Swerves Left

Think again.
