I hate it when people misuse "progressive". They purposefully do it to include the 50% of the population that likes a government and redistribution of wealth.

"Proggressive" pertains to the cutural side of politics, not the economic.

I.e, a progressive is a person who thinks it's a good thing to bear children at forty instead of at twenty. A progressive thinks it's a good thing for a woman to turn into a man with testosterone shots. A progressive thinks its a good thing to replace a population with foreigners.

The koch brothers would have you think a progresive is a moderate socialist.
