The laws do not allow gas canisters to be disposed of in trash cans.. You just are not allowed to do this. Nor are you allowed to place chemicals in these. It might start a fire but it will not explode.

Original report from NYFD and NYPD was of IED explosion.

Visual evidence of the dumpster is that of an explosive device that was detonated.. Blast radius and injuries are consistent with a moderate energy blast shock wave (I did EOD-explosive work in the military for 6 years)...

To be a fly on the wall over there would be very enlightening.

Will wait for facts but having two explosions today this one and the one in New Jersey is a little concerning.

Oh its probably nothing. Some old white guy just threw away a gallon of anti-freeze. Some bum tossed a smoke in there. Its' not always muslims.......could be leftover firecrackers from the 4th?
