Daniel Henninger nailed it on FOX news yesterday. He said that the Democrat Party's biggest problem isn't Bernie Sanders, it's the fact that they've lost the ability to govern anymore. They've become incompetent, and have not only run out of working ideas, but have run out of gas.

They are an aging political party that has deflated, much like Britain’s Labour Party, France’s Socialists, Germany’s Social Democrats and the Christian Democrats.

The low turnout and voter indecision in the Iowa and New Hampshire primaries have shown how incompetent the Democrat Party has become. Many voters were flipping a coin in the voting booth to pick from the other candidates. The Democrats promise their voters “free” healthcare, but they can’t even launch the website successfully, as they did with Obamacare. Then there was the debacle of the Iowa caucus app that was supposed to count the votes.

Pure incompetence. A political party is bound to fail when their platform is based on central planning, narrow political incentives and decisions, statist bureaucratic management, state ownership & state control, and statist monopoly. In every case around the world, that has ultimately led to shortages, economic chaos, destruction of human liberties, inefficiencies, waste, malinvestment, capital decumulation, disaster, catastrophe, and misery.

It's probably way past time that old dinosaur Democrat Party was kicked to the curb, because it's outlived its purpose as a viable working political party.

And yes, I was once a Democrat myself. So was my wife.

No lie. I never bought until recently and now I'm growing White Banner and Afghan Regular. In school, I was always friends with the dealers.

In college, they once passed my a joint and about an hour later I recall looking at the grass leading to the Quad to determine which direction the grass blades bent so I could Sherlock Holmes like deduce which direction I needed to go to get back to campus.
