Then obviously, you agree. Renewables used to produce electric POWER is what matters.
For one thing denier, fossil fuel plant replacement with renewables happens as NEEDED. You don’t trade in a perfectly good car just to get a few more mpg. You go to renewables when demand increases and when fossil fuel plants need replacement and the economics are worth it.

They are. I have never argued for renewables to save the planet. I argue for them because…..they save money.

Baloney. Government mandates are causing perfectly good fossil fuel plants to be scrapped.
