National: Biden leads by 7.8 percentage points.

Pennsylvania: Biden leads by 3.3 percentage points.
North Carolina: Trump leads by .3 percentage points.
Arizona: Biden leads by 3.4 percentage points.

The Democrats have only won Arizona once since 1948, back in 1996. But out of the 16 polls done between Biden and Trump in Arizona, Trump has only been in ahead in two of them, and by tiny margins of 1 and 2 percentage points. So I think in 2020 Biden will be able to turn Arizona Blue for only the second time since 1948.

To put it briefly, Trump is an impeached President, in the middle of a recession, with 13.3% unemployment and 112,000 plus dead Americans from a virus Trump failed to stop and contain.

Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin gave Trump victory in 2016. They seem to be firmly not only in Biden’s hand but the Democrats in general

Pressure mounts on Trump to project unity

President Donald Trump, appearing badly out of touch with a national outpouring of support for racial justice and shedding political support just five months before the election, is edging toward a belated call for national unity.

If he's smart (?), he won't try to deliver a national address on race relations. Holding a bible aloft and speaking from a teleprompter just wouldn't cut it. The man is woefully inept at public speaking; the best thing he can do is keep his mouth shut and hope it blows over, which is unlikely.

Trump needs rallies! According to him, the Coronavirus has been "defeated." Why hasn't he held rallies.

It's probably too late anyway

He hasn't had rallies because large groups aren't really good ideas … but with the protests maybe some states will him have his theatre. I'm not sure that expands his base. If he's polling at 45% in a battleground state …. His ideas of using tear gas for a political stunt with an upside down New Testament conveniently provided from his Jewish daughter's $1500 purse is noxious to most people, as is using the US military on US citizens.

But if the econ comes back to somehow showing positive growth, or even close to positive growth, in the 3rd qtr … I'm afraid he isn't dead yet. Politically speaking, that is.

The comeback has started already and we are not near being totally open just yet.
