Texas Sen. Ted Cruz said Saturday that President Barack Obama must seek Congressional authorization for U.S. strikes on the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) if they continue.

Obama waits until ISIS grows into what they are today, we could have easily destroyed them coming in from Syria in convoys of pickup trucks but Obama refused to get involved. Iraq wanted airstrikes early on, Obama refused to do it. the Kurds want heavy weapons to fight the Islamonazis, they haven't got it, and you speak out against McConnell? Selective outrage not very impressive actually

Cruz says he needed approval, and where was CONGRESS? Both branches have waited too long.
