Cannon is a seriously inexperienced Trump appointee way over her head.
She's already had her face slapped once by a higher court for her handling of the case.
Now she is openly showing her partisan bias in protecting Trump from a slam dunk conviction.
The voters will decide in November how this turns out.
Barr said Trump is in deep shit, we'll see.
Judicial Watch gave Trump bad advice based on Clinton's "sock drawer tapes" ruling and the Presidential Records Act.

If Cannon was removed from the case, why is she still making rulings?

You should call her and tell her she is no longer on the case, Troll.

Sigh.....you're so aggressively uninformed. Let me walk you through the conversation you weren't able to follow on your own, baby bird.

We're talking about her 2022 hijacking of the warrant for Mara Lago where she unilaterally claimed the case was under her jurisdiction (it wasn't), that she had the authority to appoint a special master (she didn't), that Trump should receive special execeptions under the law (he shouldn't have), and that she could dictate to the DOJ how they could investigate Trump (she couldn't).

With the 11th Circuit Court throwing her ass off the case, voiding her every order and giving her a woodshed moment - citing her radical reordering of case law in Trump's defense, her violation of national standards, her violation of the very separation of powers.

Cannon is a hack.

And yet she is still on the case.

Weird.

Smith was never confirmed by the Senate. His position as 'special prosector' is not valid, nor is anything he has created in these farcical cases.
Huh!

Yet we never heard any whining from you hypocrites when Bill Barr singlehandedly appointed John Durham as Special Counsel.

D'oh!

In December 2020, Attorney General William Barr announced that he had elevated Durham's status and authority by appointing him as a special counsel, allowing him to continue the investigation after the end of the Trump presidency.

How DO you all stand the stench of your own hypocrisy?!?

.

Wow. Your bias is surreal. You’re on the other thread defending Marchan.

I'm biased by quoting the 11th circuit? II'm not the one that said her rulings violated national principles, radically reordered case law, and violated the separation of powers. I'm not the one that threw her off the case, voided her every order, and publicly repremanded her.

That would be the 11th Circuit Court.

Now show me a similar ruling against Merchan and his handling of Trump's case. No, go ahead. I'll wait.

Nothing? Yeah, you can see the problem with your argument, yes?

Durham was confirmed by the Senate in 2018. Try harder, Smith never was.

Bill Barr singlehandedly appointed John Durham as Special Counsel in the last month of Trump's presidency, to Durham could continue his witch hunt well into the Biden presidency.

Now THAT is lawfare. A desperate last-minute move.

Trump so badly wanted someone to get Hillary.

Does anyone recall whining about Durham's appointment being made without Senate confirmation?

Anyone?

Anyone?

Bueller?

And yet she is still on the case.

Weird.

Yawning....again, with your hapless, aggressive ignorance. She's not on the 2022 case. She was thrown off. This was all BEFORE the indictment in March of 2023.

You simply can't follow the conversation and have no interest in educating yourself on even the basics of the conversation.

Feel free to jump back in if you ever do.

Nope. Wrong. Read the link I provided again.

Durham was confirmed by the Senate as a US Attorney for Connecticut.

Barr singlehandedly elevated Durham to Special Counsel after the 2020 election, in the last month of Trump's presidency.

A real desperation move.

And not one of you whined about it.

Oh, Durham was such a spectacular failure. The ONLY conviction he was able to muster was a plea deal that a man had ALREADY made with the Inspector General.

Every one of Durham's investigations was a failure. Every one of his prosecutions ended in acquital. He accomplished nothing.

Mueller on the other indicted a dozen, tried several, got felony conviction after felony conviction, and millions upon millions in fines. Covering a huge portion of his own investigation in fines against felons.

Now we've got Comer and his laughable, incompetent impeachment inquiry. That ended as yet another failure.

All the same case, moron.

Someone should rub idiot Cannon's face in the fact John Durham was made a Special Counsel by her patron's Attorney General, with no Senate confirmation.

Yep.

Trump so badly wanted Durham to get Hillary.

And when Jeff Sessions recused himself from the Russian interference investigation, Trump repeatedly asked him to unrecuse himself so he could go after Hillary.

Karma is a BITCH!

No, dip, Its not. The 2022 case was about the warrant. There were no charges. There were no indictments. There was only an investigation.

She was thrown off.

When the indictments came around 4 months later, a judge was randomly selected to adjudicate this new case. And she was randomly picked.

You simply have no idea what you're talking about. You contribute nothing of use the conversation. Run along, kiddo.

The voters will decide in November how this turns out
The voters have to vote deprived of the knowledge that would be gained from seeing Trump on trial for his many indicted crimes.

Thanks largely to his loyal judges who has successfully delayed these trials for frivolous reasons.

You really should do better research. Durham was confirmed by the Seante in 2018 by a voice vote. The Senate confirmation does not need to occur in lateral moves such as this. While the Senate does have to confirm vertical moves, such Appellate Judge to Supreme Court Justice, or a previously confirmed person to a cabinet position.

Cry more, bitch.

Durham wasn't appointed special counsel in 2018. Nor does the Senate appoint special counsels.
