How much sense does it make to be overrun with people ILLEGALLY entering your country with little or no ramifications and expect to foot the bill without any accountability on their part? For example, showing up to asylum hearings after being let in? I’m all for facilitating and expediting paths to citizenship and helping financially along that path but is it too much to ask for compliance with immigration laws? The wall is debatable and there are reasons for not building it but not at the cost of doing nothing.
