How do you know we would have drew down on them? That's an opinion not a fact. How do you know I want war? If you're trying to second guess me, you lost.We would be pointing guns at them if the situation were reversed. The problem is that they were NOT treated well. Pointing guns at people and taking them prisoner through no fault of their own isn't being treated fairly. Even Joe Biden said so, you lefties can't find your asses in a phone booth! The fact is we are giving Iran billions of our dollars AFTER giving them all they wanted with the nuke deal, all so obama can claim victory and they very likely won't change a damn thing.
The US is acting like the rich fat man that routinely gets slapped around and fleeced and thanks the mugger for not hurting him.
And, for the millionth time, it wasn't our money. If we decided to keep it we would be breaking the law.
The thing that Iran did that wasn't cool was broadcasting images of our sailors on their national tv. That being said, this was ultimately a positive interaction with Iran compared to earlier. It's called progress...unless you just want war then you lost.
Lifting Sanctions Will Release $100 Billion To Iran. Then What?
"We have no ability to constrain Iran if they want to spend all $100 billion on funding Hezbollah or other terrorist organizations," he warns. "But when you're getting a $100 billion-plus cash windfall, even if you're spending 5 to 10 percent of that only on the regional activities and your support for terrorism, that's an extra $5 to $10 billion dollars-plus."
I didn't say we would have "drew down on them", I'm saying Iran maybe wouldn't have given us our sailors back. And your link proves your previous statement that we are giving Iran our money, we aren't.
As for whether you want war or not? I didn't say you did. I said those who want war lost and why what just happened was a good thing.
