Just curious...do the democrats realize...they still own obamacare? And they are happy about that?

Time for the Repubs to work with the Democratic members to FIX the problems in the ACA....

That, or the protesters will continue piling up at their town halls all the way to election day 2018 and 2020....

We must give a standing ovation to the citizens who finally became active with their government, and poured in to these town halls everywhere.

At this point fixing Obamacare would be like trying to put a band aid on the Titanic. It's just a disaster of a bill
the ACA gave some very good patient protections that are good for all of us, if we ever get sick...

the problems, are high deductibles and high out of pocket costs, not enough competition in rural areas, and a handful of other things, but the majority of the things in the ACA are good for us and less profitable for insurance companies....

What this fiasco has done, has shown HOW HARD the Democrats worked on coming up with the ACA, took a year of working on it....and it still had problems....as Trump has said, health care is COMPLICATED.

they need to work together to tweak and reform the ACA and then can call it TrumpCare! Make the boss happy.....

They need to get out of insurance period. All they are doing is making things worse

Math isn't spin...obamacare was designed to fail...designed to fail with hilary clinton as President so that they could take over American healthcare with single payer healthcare....as if the same morons who can't run the Veteran's Administration medical system can now run the healthcare for 320 million people.....

But now Trump won....and now the democrats still own obamacare........and they really think they won something today?

Well, as of yesterday, Cheeto Jesus Owns It. He could have repealed it or reformed it, he chose to leave it as it is.

It's all on him now.

Repubs sabotaged O care from its first law suit that got rid of the MEDICAID expansion for the poorest Mandate
Already mapping out some damage control I see.
Isn't THAT what the OP was doing by starting this thread, silly???
Only if redirecting people's attention back to the direct source, and cause of the calamity that's headed this way... Then yes. But in the end; this abject failure will be Obamas, and the Democrats lasting legacy. While the republicans may have tried to "fix" it; it is in no way their job to save his legacy, or salvage his ill conceived plan to ram socialism down Americas throat. There was never a health care "crisis" to begin with. As evidenced by cost prior to this abomination.
The Op was just playing "Monkey see, Monkey Do" and following his master's lead....

And YOU ARE NUTS to think there was NOT a problem before the ACA.....bat poopee crazy!!! :)

Number 1 cause for bankruptcy in this Nation was health care costs.....and most of those people HAD HEALTH CARE INSURANCE....but the insurance refused to pay, or reached their cap on yearly service....the ACA fixed that....

Health care insurance was going up double digits each year for the previous 10 years, teh hubby and my health insurance through work had gone up 30% each year during that period....

Keeping those with preexisting conditions from being able to buy insurance, kicking people off their plans when they did get sick....

IT WAS HORRIBLE, much worse before the ACA.....

The ACA needs tweaking, and it should have started 6 years ago, as with all new programs....everything new, needs some fixing.

Bullshit
Nope, in 2000 we were paying $23 each pay period a month, which was 2 pay periods, so $46 a month for 80% coverage for the two of us, and a $200 deductible each, $1000 in total for the two of us out of pocket. If I did not cover my husband, it was $8 each pay period for a good plan just for me.

by 2008 our healthcare insurance for the two of us was $350 a month, with $2000 deductible and $4000 each in out of pocket expense with only 70% coverage....

They were "out of it" BEFORE the ACA and trending worse and worse each year... and it was HORRIBLE, especially for those who were actually sick.

Yeah and they got into it and now we have the disaster known as Obamcare...breaking the backs of hard working Americans so the leeches can get insurance. Fuck that

needs a hell of a lot more than tweaking.

The ACA didn't lower rates as proposed. Rates are climbing with high assed deductibles...............Insurance Companies are leaving the exchanges.

It is failing of it's own dang weight.

The old system not working for everyone. This system doesn't work. Why is it so difficult to make it affordable to even the poorest workers?

Or the insurance companies thought they could bully the government into paying them more...

Again- it breaks now, Trump broke it.

Nah you righties spent years sabotaging the fuck out of it and now you control everything and brag about how Democrats are irrelevant. You replace it, or GFY. I'm sure Democrats will come to the table when you realize it's time to stop sabotaging the ACA and enact it as it was intended.

Site instances of sabatoging the Democrat owned and architected plan? You built it, you own it. Making specious claims and blamed on your political opposition the ACA's failures and shortcomings does not let you off the hook. Either fix it or be accountable for it.
Executive Order Minimizing the Economic Burden of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act Pending Repeal

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Secretary of Health and Human Services (Secretary) and the heads of all other executive departments and agencies (agencies) with authorities and responsibilities under the Act shall exercise all authority and discretion available to them to waive, defer, grant exemptions from, or delay the implementation of any provision or requirement of the Act that would impose a fiscal burden on any State or a cost, fee, tax, penalty, or regulatory burden on individuals, families, healthcare providers, health insurers, patients, recipients of healthcare services, purchasers of health insurance, or makers of medical devices, products, or medications.

Baloney..................Dems law still in place unchanged..............Your side owns it..........Lock Stock and Barrel............and this isn't over...........Not by a long shot.

AKA..............Allowed to create any law he dang well pleases without passage from Congress...........BS

Democrats own Obamacare......Republicans own DHS

If families start to suffer and lose insurance, it is up to Republicans to do something about it. Darwinism is not a solution.
So Americans will contact their Congressman and ask him to do something
Blame Obamacare does not pay the doctor

The old system not working for everyone. This system doesn't work. Why is it so difficult to make it affordable to even the poorest workers?

Because the only way to do that would be to create a private system that would be subsidized by everyone else.

I've talked to people whose employers have opted for ObamaCare because it was better than anything the private sector was willing to give their small business.

Shit, if I could get affordable health care, i'd quit my day job and do my side business full time.

And this is the problem. the failure of Employer Provided Health Care is the reality of going to a "gig economy". When you change people form "Employees" to "Contractors", you absolve yourself from responsibility for them.

So you get the story of the Lyft Driver who went into labor on her shift, and Lyft thinks this was a heartwarming story, until someone asked, "Why was this woman still working THIS close to her due date?"

Lyft Celebrates Driver Who Went Into Labor While Working

It’s nice that this story ends in a baby, and it’s tempting to feel all warm and fuzzy about this situation because everyone loves a heartwarming tale of a lady giving birth at an inopportune time. But it’s also a little unsettling to think that it’s possible that Mary was working one week from her due date because she needed to. Lyft may call the situation “exciting” but it’s also an example of how the gig economy does not work for those who work for them.

Since drivers are contractors and not actual employees, Lyft doesn’t have to offer traditional benefits like health insurance, let alone paid maternity leave. And while the birth of a healthy baby is cause for celebration, this story definitely not what you’d describe as “exciting.”

Passing the buck on your BS law isn't gonna work...................... And unlike you I'm against one man having the authority to change any damned thing he wants in the rules.................That should be done by the Congress and 3 branches of Gov't.......Not a single dang group within the executive.

If they can't pass laws to fix the dang thing then they all need to be fired until we find someone that can. Problem is we still have the paid shrills in office still......who are beholding to those who give them money.

Americans lost today. A man who was suppose to cut through DC double speak and self dealing did not deliver. Republicans who told us it was a new day lied. Democrats who have nothing to offer still look pathetic.
You are questioning a great arch strategist, his chess move today has cornered the dems to now stop their childs play and vote on value of restructuring plan instead of all conspiring to vote party line sabotage-'hinderers'(sawtawns).
Satanists=hinderers(obstructionists)-adversaries.
That never bodes well especially if it exposes Obama care failures they structured forced on the people on the first place.

It was the repubs that sank their bill yesterday, they did not have the votes on their side. But if Trump would have asked or reached across the aisle and asked dems to help fix the law just maybe they would have extended some suggestion's and it could have ended up bipartisan. But no the repubs destroyed themselves on this one.

Yeah, buddy, it is.

Trump has just proven that he can be rolled by 30 fanatics in the Freedom Carcass. He's not in the driver seat and neither is creepy-ass Paul Ryan.

If it breaks now, they broke it.
