He didn't say it in those exact words, but yeah, he said if they throw rocks, the military should treat it as a gun. That means if they throw, he wants the military to shoot back. Here is what he said........................

Yes, I know what he said, and it implies that we treat something like rocks being hurled as being no different than being shot at.
However, he's still not actually instructing them to fire back.
I think that he's mostly wanting those in the caravan to know in advance that we are not going to sit back and allow our people to be assaulted.

The truth is though, our military will likely know in advance if our people even need to have amunition distributed.

This will start out being more of humanitarian, than a milirary mission anyway.
