Considering that wage growth has been flat and the working class has seen their share of the National Income plummet, it's no wonder more and more people are using Food Stamps.
Below is a chart showing the working class's share of the National Income over the years. Is it not a coincidence that growth of those using Food Stamps coincides with the state of the working class's income?
The second graph shows the corporate world's share of the National Income, notice the different directions comparing it to the working class's downwards trend. And it all started in the 80's.
