Maine’s passage of ‘right to food’ amendment stirs celebration, worry

What basis does the Government have to deny or disparage equal protection of the law for unemployment compensation?
The Govt created the insurance, they run it.

It seems what you want is something completely different the UE insurance. You want people to be paid for simply being, not working.

We do have welfare and such, but even that’s not forever.

Why don’t people you know work? What’s your issue with that?

Don’t know or care too much about left wingers, which your not or right wingers which you are not. Not really my gig lumping people together. Individually you are a liar, manipulator and dishonest, and you think watching YouTube makes you an expert! Lol! How stupid are you and what’s more why would you think people would buy your BS?
lol. Says the ethically and morally challenged right-wing.

The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States.

He actually believes that having to qualify for UC is unequal protection under the law. Seriously.
At-will employment is generally described as follows: "any hiring is presumed to be 'at will'; that is, the employer is free to discharge individuals 'for good cause, or bad cause, or no cause at all,' and the employee is equally free to quit, strike, or otherwise cease work."

To provide assistance for good workers is in the best interest of the state. Taking care of those who quit their jobs and expect to have their laziness funded at tax payer expense is not.
You have no ethics or morals to claim that. We have a First Amendment. The Law is the Law. Employment is at-will not for-cause. It really is that simple.

That is what the pipeline is for. But, they only need to get to Colonial since Colonial has infrastructure that can be upgraded.

Is there oil in Eastern Canada that needs to be shipped to a refinery? And is there a refinery in Maine, or a port capable of handling the huge tankers that would be used?

Or are you just grasping at straws? Also, you might remember that oil is a flammable liquid. You want to combine very high voltage with flammable liquids in an underground pipeline where any deterioration cannot be easily observed?? I'd call that a recipe for disaster.

The benefits would be once it is built.
