As a nurse, I’m thoroughly tired of the employer mandates that we must wear masks all of the time, no matter what. As a man with a big head and a full beard, these masks are truly painful. I have bleeding sores on the back of my ears after some shifts.

Unless we are caring for a patient with COVID, C-Diff, influenza, etc there is no reason to don additional PPE. And we can don it before we go into that patient room, and take it off again when we leave, just like we *always* have.

At this point the “all masks all the time” thing is 100% for show.
