I like her a lot personally - and she clearly has mad political skills, great speechmaking ability, and she's exceptionally easy on the eyes.
But the idea of free education, free health care and abolishing ICE are not mainstream ideas that will work nationally.

HOWEVER - clearly she was perfect for her district and THAT is what Dems need to keep in mind.
There's nothing wrong with supporting a pro life moderate Dem in a conservative to purple district or state.
The candidate needs to FIT - Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

I can't disagree with that either. We would be just fine cutting our military budget in half and closing at least half our bases around the world -
We should have learned after Vietnam that ground wars abroad don't work - Protect the homeland and invest in cyber, covert ops, diplomacy - etc etc
Which would pay for health care and education .. AND allow us to start paying down the national debt.
That would make us richer and safer.

As for ICE - They take their direction from the president - Nothing wrong that couldn't be fixed with someone sane in the Oval who wasn't giving them license to run around acting like Fascist assholes.
