Because that's what rich people do, try to buy their way out of their problems. Jackson was the perfect example of how fame and money create a bubble for them to live in and shield them from reality.

Michael Jackson never grew up. Why did he sleep in the same bed with kids? Hell, I did the same thing during sleepovers when I was a kid. During summers we even slept in our underwear together. Do you want to know what happened? Nothing! We were into G.I.Joe and baseball cards. It's adults who are obsessed with sex, not kids.
