Mike Pence and classified documents

why wasn’t his house raided?
If your talking about Pence, they went to his house when he was out of State.
Same thing as trump, except you imps got all crazy and called it a "Raid" when it was just a search, just like with Biden and Pence.

Your never-ending adoration for POS trump will NEVER make sense. NEVER.

This is going to get awkward when it comes out Jimmy Carter has been leaving classified documents in all of the houses he builds for Habitat for Humanity.
Almost all classified documents are automatically declassified on Dec 31st of the 25th year. Besides Jimmy's are buried with the peanuts.

Now classified documents have been discovered at former VP Mike Pence home. Is there any jackass in Congress who doesn’t have classified documents at there house.
Classified documents found in Mike Pence's Indiana home
The system we use to share sensitive information is a joke. It was created many years ago by Executive Order 13526- Classified National Security Information. It has been reissued by ever president. In this document there are little jewels that show just crazy the system is.

First of all, documents are classified by the issuing agency and if an expiration date or event is not specified in the document regarding expiration then the document automatically declassifies after 10 years. However, the document can declassified by agency at anytime or can be extend and the person who has a copy of the document may not know that.

Copies can be made of classified documents and can be shared with others. The person that the document is issued to has the responsible of seeing that the document is properly used by those who are authorized by their security classification.

If portions of a classified documents are extracted and included in not classified documents, that information still remains classified.

Just because someone has a document marked classified, it doesn't mean the information is actually classified. :cuckoo:

In my opinion the whole system is riddled with problems. The only documents that are really controlled are top secret documents and top secret compartmentalize documents.

US Tax Payer dollars wasted.

Am I the only person who finds this a might suspicious? Why were they searching Pence's home? Could they have been planted? Is there a plot here? What next, a search of Pelosi's and Schiff's homes too?
I suspect a lot of people have been doing this for some time with no real worries until it was Trump and it got dialed up to 11. Now that it’s a big deal everyone has gone into CYA mode as they check to see what they might have.

The over classification of things really is a joke.

With some exceptions, such as Trump’s claim that classified documents were his personal property, it seems that a lot of the problem with misplaced classified documents is the American work ethic. The capitalist ruling class indoctrinates both itself and employees with the standard that your work responsibilities don’t end at the office door or when the clock says 5 p.m.

Among white collar workers, only clock watchers and the lazy check out at the end of the day. Anybody who has any ambition is available by phone or e-mail 24/7 and if they must take work documents, confidential or not, home with them to finish the job, so be it.
