*Moderate Another Word For Independents*

Will Independents vote Democrat and become Socialists?

I am voting 3rd party from here on out.....I am an independent. Since both parties have moved to extremes neither offers me a decent choice. The OP is offbase.

Since the chances of any third party candidate reaching the presidency at this time are slim to none, you are merely assisting one of the two primary party's candidate with your vote.

Choose wisely.
no you are not....if i vote for a third party person i am helping THAT person not the other two....if either one of them cant convince me to vote for them...thats on them, not me...

Moderates are the people who are generally okay with compromising on all of the really bad anti-liberty legislation coming out of Washington from both parties.
--------------------------------------------- Moderates , i see them as 'libs and lefties' and worse as they have no real beliefs . Same for 'bush type conservatives' who are really 'moderates' .
so you either vote far right or nothing at all?....no thanks pismoe i will vote for the person i agree with more....

If every person who voted for Hillary because they couldn't bring themselves to vote for Trump had voted for, say, Johnson...

And if every person who voted for Trump because they couldn't bring themselves to vote for Hillary had voted for Johnson...

And if everybody who held their noses and voted their party line had voted for Johnson...

Johnson would be President and the entire political system in this country would have rocked to its foundation and quite possibly would have been changed forever. And for the better.

Bottom line: everyone votes their wallet, period.

I think that is true to those who remain Republicans and will vote that way, but despise Trump's behavior. As for moderates supporting Socialism, this thread is an effort to legitimize the hate and fear of a noun.

It worked during the summer before the passage of the PPACA (which people mostly like) and Obamacare (which some of those people who like the PPACA fear).

This thread is an example of someone who is either brain washed, very poorly educated, or echoing lies and propaganda used by the fear mongerers.
so who are the "fear mongers"?....

Once again, if the third party has no chance, you are helping either one of the remaining two parties by your vote, depending upon the politics of the third. It is the only logic that succeeds.

The winning party will likely thank you from office for pulling a vote from his opposition.

But - nobody voted for Johnson, thankfully.

No. It's your problem if your candidate has no chance of success. You merely roundfile your vote, instead of voting for the candidate that has a chance and is closest to your interests.

I vote my interests. I may not get all I want, but when successful I get most of what I want.

Sorry bout that,

  1. Moderates and or Independents as such, can be more or less, *Fall on Your Sword People*.
  2. They are needy people needing to be convinced by those who want their votes.
  3. Earn my vote they say, dance for my interests, convince me my vote should go to you.
  4. To be totally honest some, but not all Moderates and or Independents are more or less monkey song grinders, wearing their little red vests, looking for others seeking their vote to dance with them as they grind their music boxes.
  5. That is not how general elections work, those who succeed, that find votes, don't focus on a single group or block of voters, they have to be broad seed casters not small seed throwers, short arm seed throwers never find enough support.
  6. Seems to me, just sayin, Moderates or Independents are lacking specific expressions, in their needs of what they expect from a prospective nominee, they desire things they can't say, they want what they can't get or have, and demand things no one else demands.
  7. That simple fact makes them hard for a nominee to convince them to vote for them.
  8. That is the crux of the enigma.
  9. A nominee any nominee can't reach them because they are always just out of reach, odd.
  10. Hope these voters can find a resolve and reason to stand and be counted for once.

And hardcore partisan ideologues are obedient, trained seals.

So guess we all have our own schtick, huh?

If he had no chance to win, I would vote for the closest facsimile from the big two, rather than permit some whacked-out Socialist to gain power.

and as long as voters have your mindset the the 2 parties will always be running the show and we will always have half-assed party people in charge....the last election...i dont know how many lefties i seen here say.."i dont care for hillary, but i cant stand trump more so im voting hillary"....and on the right..." i am not that happy with trump, but i cant stand hillary,so i am voting for trump"....so that tells me that 2 pathetic people were running, but were picked anyway, because thats what the parties wanted and thats what the people let them get away with...die hard party people.....no matter what, party first and if you dont like it,eat shit and die....

Sorry bout that,

  1. So the Independents are Moderates to the Democrats.
  2. Are they Moderates to the Republicans as well?
  3. Independents need to use their heads, vote for Republicans or vote for losing your country.
  4. Democrats are socialist.
  5. Read all about it here and here:
  6. exhibit (A) Jimmy Carter cautions Democrats not to scare off moderates
  7. exhibit (B) Jim Carrey tells Democrats: ‘We have to say yes to socialism’
  8. Are the Moderates / Independents socialist?

"1. So the Independents are Moderates to the Democrats."

meanwhile....conservatives consider EVERYONE (including moderates) to be LEFT WING COMMY SOCIALISTS.

"2. Are they Moderates to the Republicans as well?"

Nope.
according to conservatives.......anyone who is NOT a conservative (including moderates) is a LEFT WING COMMY SOCIALIST!
Are you familiar with the term RINO?

"3. Independents need to use their heads, vote for Republicans or vote for losing your country."

Independents need to use their heads...vote for democrats or lose our free and secular country to fascist conservative right wing evangelical nazi dominionists who will deny rights to EVERYONE who isn't lock step in with them.
These people have DECLARED that the constitution is meant ONLY for christians!

"4. Democrats are socialist."

Most democrats are PARTIAL socialists. They believe in social programs like....
Hiways
roads
bridges
schools
police
the military
just like republicans do!
democrats would add a few more social programs like health and education but that does NOT make them COMMUNIST SOCIALISTS any more than the average republican is for wanting
Hiways
roads
bridges
schools
police
the military
and medicare
medicaid
social security

"6. exhibit (A) Jimmy Carter cautions Democrats not to scare off moderates
exhibit (B) Jim Carrey tells Democrats: ‘We have to say yes to socialism’"

exhibit 1,945,673;
trump endorsed roy moore
roy moore wants HIS bible to be the law of the land
roy moore wants to CRIMINALIZE gays and atheists (and all non-christian religions), have them rounded up and, to save on the cost of incarceration, executed for the crime of being anti-his christian god.

"8. Are the Moderates / Independents socialist?"

do moderates want a FREE and SECULAR country or a fascist right wing evangelicial dominionist tyranny?

Sorry bout that,

  1. Moderates are indeed Independents.
  2. Moderates are within the Democratic Party, they float around in there with the crazy fucks.
  3. Then at one time of another they get sick of insanity and launch out and find themselves as a Independent, wandering into a third party.
  4. This is a huge block of voters so huge they can make or break ANY election.
  5. Most if not all identify with the Democrats cause that is where they escaped.
  6. The Independents are a fickle bunch, more than not never have a true direction or scope of identity, or stand.
  7. I tend to call them floaters.
  8. They blow with the wind vote with their guts, cling to personality.
  9. Basically wishy washy, unhinged undisciplined, floating along the path of their lives.
  10. Most of them are Christians but can't commit to a party line as far as where they stand.

Sorry bout that,

  1. Most people begin a Democrat, because Democrats are for the poor people. *right?*
  2. And most people that are born, .............start at as poor. .....*right?*
  3. So where else they going to go?
  4. Thats very true, some find riches but remain poor in spirit.
  5. They never truly find God.
  6. A good portion realise that that party is chucked full of crazy people and they get out.
  7. They are too scared to become Republicans so they just go Independents.

SirJamesofTexas

Sorry bout that,

  1. And finally here is what you've ALL been waiting for....
  2. If you Independents vote for the Democrats in this mid-term Presidency of Trump, you and I stand to see this nation go down the drain forever.
  3. We could very well end up a socoalist shit hole, and just remember I warned you about it right now, and you can vote Republican as you well should.
