Anyone watching MSNBC on Monday afternoon (anyone?) was hopefully surprised to hear host Katy Tur make a ridiculous assertion about President Trump and his rocky relationship with the press.

Tur shared her concerns that Trump tends to shy away from criticizing Russia President Vladimir Putin despite the terrible things he’s done, even going as far as to say Trump is “going above and beyond” and “bending over backwards” to avoid a condemnation. Then Tur gave what any good MSNBC reporter would -- a healthy dose of fear-mongering:

“As we know, there's, since 2000, been a couple dozen suspicious deaths of journalists in Russia who came out against the government there. Donald Trump has made no secret about going after journalists and his distaste for any news that doesn't agree with him here. Do you find that this is a dangerous path he is heading down?”

There’s no way anyone is still watching this network, right? Apparently, Tur hails from the same progressive school of violent rhetoric just like those celebrity leftists who hint at violent actions and yet always seem to avoid being held accountable.
