This is an interesting read. It says that the transfer rate (MB/second) of the Gucciffer files are not consistent with a hack. Basically it says that the rate is not achievable because A) your accessing a computer thru VPN B) Your usually far from the location you are hacking.

According to the article the transfer rate is consistent with a data transfer from a LAN. which is a leak.

You can say what you want about them, but as far as me, I've said very clearly I'm against ALL leaks.

But the leaks that led to Watergate were ok, right?

I've said over and over again... all leaks from the government are bad. If you knew history, Nixon would have gone down regardless. He was going crazy.

The DNC is not "the government", they are a political party. There is no security clearances involved or government standards for information they have to follow. A "leak" from the DNC is not damaging to the government or nation at all, it's only damaging to their own party.
