Newt was trying to do a Trump shock factor statement in a last ditch attempt to get that VP spot. He knew pence was gonna get it. It may have worked, Trump called the delay, probably wanted to see how this whole Muslim deportation thing plays out... It's a Hail Mary and the ball is in the air

So Gingrich is arguing that we must violate the Constitution by
a) targeting a person based upon their religion and
b) deporting American citizens without due process

And you applaud this?
