Noah's Ark with two of EVERY animal

From my understanding it was a shift from paganism to monotheism. EN.LIL and EN.KI were combined to be "god". That's why the OT has such a schizophrenic "god". EN.LIL followers won the battle of religion and he became "God". The Lord EN.KI remained the "Lord".

Any sentences in the OT that refer to the Lord are referring to EN.KI. The one who created us, and helped us.

I think reading the text isn't going to work when people literally interpret things however they like to make it fit whatever they want it to say.

Fish are clearly "on this Earth".

Don't interpret, read the text.

Instead of imagining a 'freemason Noah',
use that creativity for something constructive.

It started with the "Brotherhood of the Snake". Because the snake/serpent is EN.KI's epitaph.
Snake cults were very popular and widespread. From Mesopotamia to Egypt and the Levant to Arabia and the Indus valley. The snake was revered for wisdom and renewal of life. Seems like there's some carry over into Judiasm since Moses' staff turned into a snake and ate the staffs pharaoh's court magicians turned into snakes. Then in Sina there's the story of the bronze snake.

Paganism in those days wasn't in rejection of monotheism,
it wasn't until humanity totally forgot the source of it all.

The term 'gods', literally, refers in the Hebrew heritage
both to humans of power, like judges, as to...nature.

It's a very old symbol. Ouroboros Meanings & Symbolism: Mythology of the Snake Eating Its Tail

The intertwined snake is EN.KI's epitaph. It's still used today in medicine. Notice the wings, signifying that it flies.

One may ask, why would humanity think in common terms,
describing the origins of civilization?

Carl Gustav Jung helps understand this withing
the more European native terminological orientation.

They didn't. Creation stories are very different. But there was trade and inter marriage in the region. Herod and the Egyptian pharaohs used frankense and myrr from Yemen.

Creation is a different realm,
it's before time and pre-birth.

We're discussing the story of Noah,
collective accounts describing the ice age.

Birds do not have a vertical tail, and no bird or insect has wings below it's body, or stabilizers. And they obviously don't have a fuselage or cockpit.

Don't interpret, read the text.

I read it.

"I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. "

Seems God (that good guy, apparently) loves killing. Maybe God loves Putin and Bush.

He said he wanted to destroy "all flesh", like fish.

"And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female. "

And he said "every living thing of all flesh"

Then it gets confusing because then he says Fowl, cattle and creepy things.

Then he says fowl, cattle, creepy things and beasts and birds.

It's kind of like saying something, then making a list which was never going to include everything (and doesn't include every type of creature on the planet, even those who don't live in water)
