Instead of saying level, you should say scope. Since it depends on how many election districts it covers.
Good word, thanks!

Nope. The Constitution makes no such distinctionThe point is that the level of office dictates the level of who can keep someone off the ballot.
It's from the 10th amendment.Language to that effect is found nowhere in Sec 3 of the 14th.
That's because elections are purely a state function. Congress may dictate rules, like the date the election is to be held on.Nope. The Constitution makes no such distinction
You wouldn't be having to ask that question had the petulant child known as Don not tried to subvert the will of the voters. Why do elected officials act like children?
Nope. The Constitution makes no such distinction
He didn't.You wouldn't be having to ask that question had the petulant child known as Don not tried to subvert the will of the voters.
Cool narrative, bro.You wouldn't be having to ask that question had the petulant child known as Don not tried to subvert the will of the voters.
Actually subverting the will of the voters is a long standing tradition of both parties. You wouldn't be having to ask that question had the petulant child known as Don not tried to subvert the will of the voters.
Your the traitor, dumbass.Fuck you right back Traitor.
Sure..............Your side is trying to rig another election.
Your side is violent as fuck too. Being the good little Fascist you have become.
Show me the conviction of that exact charge.People throw out terms like "due process" and "procedures" without saying what they actually entail?
Does the process require one hearing, or a dozen hearings. Can the decision be made at the local level, or does it have to be a state official?
That's what i'm asking, since the rules may be completely different from state to state.
The founders hated a pure Democracy. The chose a Republic instead to avoid the Tyranny of 50 plus 1The will of the people is often subverted. As we have a republic with an electoral college, instead of a democracy.
Your the traitor, dumbass.

The problem with the judges opinion is that it completely divests the state of it's sovereignty, when it comes to holding their elections. That the state is incapable of handling it's election controversies, and must instead hand the decision making to the federal courts instead.Show me the conviction of that exact charge.

How Colorado's Supreme Court justices divided on Trump ruling
Meet the justices and learn how each individual voted in Colorado's historic 14th Amendment challenge against the former president.www.cpr.org
I cannot agree with the majority that the chimeric proceedings below gave President Trump process commensurate to the interest of which he has been deprived. Nor did the proceedings below protect the interest Coloradans have in voting for a candidate of their choosing. Of course, if President Trump committed a heinous act worthy of disqualification, he should be disqualified for the sake of protecting our hallowed democratic system, regardless of whether citizens may wish to vote for him in Colorado. But such a determination must follow the appropriate procedural avenues. Absent adequate due process, it is improper for our state to bar him from holding public office. More broadly, I am disturbed about the potential chaos wrought by an imprudent, unconstitutional, and standardless system in which each state gets to adjudicate Section Three disqualification cases on an ad hoc basis. Surely, this enlargement of state power is antithetical to the framers’ intent.”
— Justice Carlos Samour Jr.
Actually they chose a republic as a practical form of representation. As you couldn't have 4 million people sitting in congress. The founders hated a pure Democracy. The chose a Republic instead to avoid the Tyranny of 50 plus 1
Balony. The Bill of Rights are guaranteed by the Constitution. They have been violated and this publicity stunt will end overturned by SCOTUSThe problem with the judges opinion is that it completely divests the state of it's sovereignty, when it comes to holding their elections. That the state is incapable of handling it's election controversies, and must instead hand the decision making to the federal courts instead.
Fine by me. Then just desolve the UnionHow about every red state removing Biden from the ballot and every blue state removing Trump?![]()
