ns to take down Confederate statues

Now the A. Lincoln memorial needs to be removed from DC. Fair and balanced. That A-Ho started the bloodiest war we've fought and instigated the murder of civilians.
ALL the carpetbaggers deserved to be hung. .
That a hole freed millions and United the country in the face of traitors, Lincoln Memorial stays.
No, he freed no one and even said so. The south had seceded and didn't abide by the Emancipation Proclamation, unsurprisingly. Check out Sherman's march sometime, more than soldiers were slaughtered.

The fact is that technology would have soon made it all moot. The north had factories and no real use for slavery but tractors and harvesters were yet to be invented so man power was the only answer. I'm not justifying it, just putting the facts out there. Similarly, kitchen inventions freed women.

Wrong.
He ordered an invasion of a peaceful neighboring Nation
He freed his troops to commit countless war crimes (including the naval bombardment of NYC).
He was the original bloody American imperialist. We need a memorial to John Wilkes Booth.
It wasn't a "peaceful neighboring nation" you nut job. It was a rebel territory who were threatening to split our country so they didn't lose their precious slave labor.

Wrong again. The United States had already split and a new Nation had been formed.
Lincoln wanted to enslave Blacks AND Whites and he pulled it off.
The nation was already split in the minds of the South maybe lol. Lincoln basically said - if you want to ruin our country you'll have to fight for it. Newsflash: They lost that fight.

So did Lincoln. It resulted in his being shot in the head by a Southern patriot.

His actions lead to the end of slavery. The south still doesn't abide by laws that protect minorities:2up: what can ya do?!

The Liberty Place one is the only one I can see as reasonable to remove.

The others are from the Civil War itself, and part of the conclusion of that war was the healing of both sides, and of both sides to be able to honor those who fought for them.

You're a big fan of participation trophies all of the sudden?

How is that a participation trophy? part of the healing process after the war was to let each side honor their losses in their own way.

Sorry, traitorous losers don't get to have monuments to advance their lies of the Nobel Lost Cause.

Look around. That fight is still going on.

Big talk from someone that wasn't around during that time, and is probably a pant wetting basement dwelling 80 lb sissy mary.
