Obama Caves to Senate on Iran Deal

Obama didn't exactly fold. Congress removed the language from the bill that was contentious.
Reports are Kerry argued against Congressional oversight up until the end, and Obama not only insisted that Congress would have no say, but he even threatened to take his case to the UN.

Sure sounds like Obama folded to me.

Yet the senate had to alter the bill. Who folded? :dunno:

It's a compromise.
Obama said "He would go it ALONE if he had to"...HE FOLDED.

That's because he is a pathological liar and an epic failure on so, so many levels.

His red line means just what? lol

maybe the mods will merge this thread with the other two or three or four or ....

Don't forget the fact that they held our people hostage for 444 days then. They've been jacking us around for years.

Or are you still on your little kick of Iran good, US bad?

They held our people hostage for 444 days because they had a fear we were going to try to pull a coup like we did in 1953.

HOw many Iranians did the Shah kill and torture?

Nice evasion, but they held our people for 444 days because they knew Carter was a wimp. They had them on a plane for home before Reagan could finish taking the oath of office.

Or they had made their point. The Shah was dead, Carter lost. And Reagan gave Iran a pretty wide berth...

Let's not forget, this is the same Reagan who traded weapons for hostages. This is something Carter never did.

True. Carter didn't gut the middle class.

Carter didn't triple the national debt.

Carter didn't get 250 marines killed for nothing in Lebanon.

Carter didn't illegally fund narco-terrorists who flooded our streets with cocaine.

Carter didn't let the Japanese wreck our auto industry.

A whole lot Carter didn't do, that Reagan did.

Joe

You just posted more crap than you would find in the NYC sewers, so for the sake of time, I'll address two for now.....

Reagan didn't "get the Marine killed for nothing". They died fighting Hezbollah terrorists, backed by Iran. So, you see, their deaths were caused by your buddies in Teheran! Seems you have taken up defending terrorists now, too. That makes me wonder where your loyalties really lie.

And Carter did more than "gut the middle class", as you put it. With double digit inflation, he wrecked the economy and gutted everybody.

More Joe-Blow.
Carter presided over double digit inflation rates
Carter sent Marines to be killed in a failed attempt at rescue in Iran
ANd yes, the auto industry needed bailouts under Carter.
Carter was a fucking worthless piece of shit who handed the Panama Canal back to dictators. He was the worst president in US history. Until today.

Except that's not what they were there for. They were not there to "fight Hezbollah". they were there to prop up a minority Christian Government the Muslim Majority didn't want. This wasn't our fight and it had nothing to do with us and at the end of the day, we got chased out with our tails between our legs.

And Carter did more than "gut the middle class", as you put it. With double digit inflation, he wrecked the economy and gutted everybody.

well, no, not really. Inflation was bad an all, but not as bad as the 11% unemployment Reagan brought us to combat it.

Yeah, we should have just given them back the Shah and a nice fruit basket. But we tried a rescue mission the military wasn't ready for.

At least it was for SOMETHING, as opposed to Reagan's adventures in Lebanon and Grenada.

ANd yes, the auto industry needed bailouts under Carter.

Well, only Chrysler, and they paid it back in full. Reagan was the one who just let the Japanese run amok, though. And they gave him a million dollars after he left office.

Carter was a fucking worthless piece of shit who handed the Panama Canal back to dictators.

You we let the Panamanians have the Panama Canal? Isn't it their country?

LOL!
Yes, Joe. Desert One was "something." It was one of the biggest fucking disasters in military history since WW2. And Carter authorized it, which means he's responsible.
The rest of your post equally sucks. Because you're a retard.

Please, guy. The Mayaguez rescue 4 years earlier and the Beruit thing were bigger disasters than Desert One.

Was Carter a good president? No.

But he wasn't the disaster for the middle class Ray-gun was.

Deflection.
Desert One was the biggest disaster up until that point. Obama's Afghan surge has taken its place of course. Mayaguez? Most people have never heard of it.
Reagan was a disaster for the middle class? That's why inflation declined and employment went up, right?

Okay, but the point was more people died, and it was pointless because the Cambodian government had ALREADY released the hostages... But no one politicized it agasint Jerry Ford the way the scumbags politicized Desert One.

As for the Afghan Surge... the only thing that was fucked up was that Bush abandoned the Afghan War when it was winnable to go after Saddam (Bush Lied, People Died) and Obama had to clean up yet another Bush mess.

Reagan was a disaster for the middle class? That's why inflation declined and employment went up, right?

Wages for working folks went down. Industrial jobs went overseas and were replaced with lower paying service jobs. Yes, Reagan was a fucking disaster for the middle class.
