Using such bigoted 'reasoning' common to most on the right, if a Muslim gets into a car accident it's an 'act of terror.'

Seems to me people had pretty good information to formulate the opinion that it was terrorism days ago , unless someone was going out of their way to deny it. Most likely they had help in acquiring their arsenal, which was very costly. Which is also why they tried to cover up their communications by destroying their information trail. When you put all the pieces together , including the fact that they were muslim and one of their victims had a death threat the day before, and was Jewish, Terrorism is not such a stretch is it?

Everybody fears death, and not necessarily because they like it here, but because the death experience is painful and because ultimately, deep down, everybody is scared to death of what happens after death. It is the great unknown, and everybody fears the unknown.

Now you might say fire bombing/nuking Japan technically qualifies, but in the end it saved hundreds of thousands of lives, if not millions. However, in the 2000s we certainly do not use terrorism.

Wouldn't the "asshole" be a hero of he gives the women and children cover to escape, even if he himself is shot. And most of these mass shooters are not prepared for someone to pull out a gun and shoot them. Even the Muslim terrorists could be stopped if enough victims had guns and shot back. Could there be deaths in the cross fire? Sure. But almost certainly fewer deaths than the murderer(s) planned.
