Its the rw's who come up with these lies and then wallow around in them for days.
Notice how they made themselves scarce in this thread?
What a little Black Sambo cumwad. I'm really getting sick of his ass

There are five known copies of the Gettysburg Address. As I listened to Obama reading the Address, it became obvious he was reading John G. Nicolay's copy.
Nicolay was Lincoln's personal secretary.
This is most likely the copy that was actually read at Gettysburg, you idiot fucks. The second half of it, which is the part in dispute in this topic, was written on the grounds of Gettysburg.

Historians do believe that Lincoln honed the address in later drafts after he delivered it, but there is little disagreement about whether Lincoln uttered the words under God when he spoke at Gettysburg.
Every stenographic report, good, bad and indifferent, says that the nation shall, under God, have a new birth of freedom, wrote historian William E. Barton. There was no common source from which all the reporters could have obtained those words but from Lincolns own lips at the time of delivery.
The White House did not immediately respond to The Daily Callers request for comment.

Then the next obvious question is what atheist prick asked him to read the version that omitted 'God' (note the capital G) from the speech? And, the next question is why would a super intelligent knowledgeable man who has been compared to God agree to such a diss on his creator.
Then again, I guess this is just another one of those things that nobody told him.
How is this a "diss on his creator"? Explain.
When you're done with that, explain how not having the phrase "nation under God" -- when that nation is founded on religious freedom and therefore is specifically not under God -- disses a creator that wasn't there to start with.

He means the original author who left out the word "god" was dissing -
Or maybe he means Lincoln was dissing on god?
rw's are quietly slinking away to tell their lie someplace else.

fact is the AP reported that he said "under god"
and the only version signed by Lincoln contains the words "under god"
sure there are 5 versions
there maybe a 100 versions until one finds the right words
in writing a speech
i would say the one signed by him
would be the final product

What we have here is hysteria over the WORDS "under god". As if the world will blow up without them being mentioned. No.....we don't have godnuts trying to make us a theocracy....nope...not at all.

yep, they never bother to question what the Brit (DailyCaller) or the Aussie (Murdoch) or the Arab (Prince Alwaleed bin Talal) spoon feed them. Sad.

Haiku John again...
The only one "signed"? What, it's like writing a check?
Is there a First National Bank of Speeches somewhere?
