OBOMINATION: Gas Price Record Worsens: 1,245 Days Above $3 a Gallon...

if you paid $5/gallon for one 10 gallons of gas per week of the month; and $2/gallon for 10 gallons the other 3 weeks;

or $4/gallon for 10 gallons each week all month

in which instance would you have paid more?

left-wing losers have no sense of logic

the point being the price of a gallon of gas has been consistently higher on average under obama; than it was under Bush

except this; if that
take this into account

ur a joke

You are the one who thinks that lifting the moratorium on some offshore drilling equaled an increase in energy production which led to the sharp decline in gasoline prices at the end of 2008, right?

Yet deny the facts as presented that the only increase in oil production has happened since Obama became president.

And you call me a joke.

That is ironic.

Just hold your Dear Leader accountable. You would do that if a Republican were President right now. This awful record is on him. It's his watch. No amount of spin will change that reality.

WHAT "awful record"??

It's been shown in a dozen ways that the price of gas is not noticeably any different than at any other time since 1919. It's already a fact that oil is an international fungible commodity that the POTUS has no control over.

So again -- WHAT "awful record"?? Are you talking about this awful record?

pretty pathetic when a leftard has to pull a useless stat from 1919 out of his playbook; when everybody knows left-wing nutjobs INSISTED bush could control gas prices; and the rise in prices was his fault

libs are losers who lie to themselves

Yeah, Obamabots are pretty hilarious. The just can't accept the fact this awful record happened on their beloved Dear Leader's watch. They're heading into crash-mode now. They held their BOOOOOSH Boogeyman accountable for high Gas Prices, but they refuse to hold their Dear Leader accountable. Just more of the same ole same ole from em. I gotta run, but thanks for the entertainment. Keep up the good work. :)

it was $1.78/gallon when Bush left office

As a result of the economic bust that was occurring. Are you as proud of the more than half a million jobs the Bush economy was losing when gas prices fell from their highest mark ever during July of 2008?

bush's average price of gas is less than obama's

on to your next pathetic excuse dolt................

Wrong again.

for permits that were applied for on Bush's watch. obama has decreased production on federal lands

it's not ironic; it's you presenting half a story as usual; nothing "ironic" about it

US oil production decreased during Bushes terms. Furthermore that decline had nothing to do with the sharp decline in gas prices from Oct 2008 to Jan 2009. US oil Production has increased throughout Obama's terms. That increase has nothing to do with the steady rise of gas prices back to near the same levels as in the summer of 2008.

when you say "bush" economy you should be prepared to list what polices dems supposedly opposed and proved it with their votes

if you cant you may be a crybaby left-wng hypocrite

He was president at the time wasn't he? It occurred on his watch didn't it? You guys are the ones crowing about the $1.79 price of gas at the end of his terms. Are you admitting that the economy had something to do with the sudden drop in gas prices instead of a non-existent increase in US energy production?

Stop it, you're gonna cause a mass Obamabot crash. I've done it many times myself. They'll get all hysterical and head off to reboot. So go easy, will ya?

So why did gas prices tumble from the July 2008 record? Are you going to jump on the lifting of the off shore moratorium bandwagon too?

are you saying it had nothing to do with it?

Absolutely. Bush lifting the EO in July had no effect on gas prices when they started falling in October later that year.

Damn, under Nixon I remember gas being under $0.30 cents a gallon. It has been rising under every president since. Thank you captain, for that wonderful insight. :eusa_whistle:

actually, no....

from three months ago:

Texas Republicans with bumper stickers on their pickup trucks blaming President Obama for soaring gas prices surprisingly have one thing in common with Bay Area drivers who bought a Prius last decade to cope with sky-high fuel prices they pinned on George W. Bush.

They paid the exact same for gas under both presidents.

As the election nears and fuel costs continue to rise, Republicans say Mitt Romney could ease our pain at the pump if he is elected, using the same strategy as Democrats who blamed Bush for gas prices four years ago.

But despite having polar opposite energy plans, Obama and Bush experienced virtually the same gas price problem, suggesting just how little control the most powerful man in the world has over this hot-button issue.

Trick question: Who had higher gas prices, Obama or Bush? - San Jose Mercury News

presidents don't set gas prices.... multinational corporations do.

just like trashing our environment won't result in more oil for use in this country or lower prices.... again, because multinational corporations set gas prices.

no matter what caribou Barbie tells you.

Here, allow me to sum up the Obamabot take on this one...

High Gas Prices under DA BOOOSH = 'BAD, definitely all his fault.'

High Gas Prices under their Dear Leader = 'COOL, definitely not his fault. And he's good friends with Jay-Z and Beyonce. So everything's just fine.'

You're welcome. :)

Correct. They have nothing to do with each other.

But prices are not near what they were at the 2008 peak. As noted earlier in today's dollars gas was $4.53 in July '08. It would have to rise nearly another dollar just to match that now.

I gassed up just yesterday; cost me $3.56. And this is not a cheap state.

No President controls gas prices.

It was the first post I made here and multiple others have told you the same thing, including Mr. H who works in the industry.

Now go back to the line in red and murmur it over and over until it sinks in. Dumbass.

Who knew motorized skateboards had tanks that could hold three whole quarts!

It's the same article I linked for you and all you could think of was to inform us how long ago 2012 was. And nobody ever said "inflation doesn't exist".

Fuggin' doofus.
