Our country was formed by....immigrants!

If the Indians had built a wall then they wouldn't be alcoholics living on a reservation hoping to get a janitor's job at the casino.

We aren't alcoholics.
We don't all live on reservations.
We don't all work at casinos.

To solve alcoholism, Native Americans must look inside reservations

Not much for reading are you.

Did you or did you not say "we aren't alcoholics"?

Oh I know.

But I was responding to his comment...not to the overall nature and pervasiveness of alcoholism.

At the time of the revolution 24% of the population of the 13 colonies were foreign born. If you count 2nd and 3rd generation, that would bring it up to well above 60%, so, yes, our country was formed by immigrants.
so it was mostly immigrants responsible for slavery and taking land from the Indians?

Yes. You afraid Mexicans want to have slaves?

You understand that the American Indian tribes were notorious for enslavement, right? Given enough time and resources, they would have had African American slaves as well.

NOBODY had transcontinental shipped-across-the-ocean slaves before Europeans did it.

And there's no reason to expect any part of the body of Native Americans -- who are a bicontinental race and not an organized political body on the order of a Spain or an England --- would have suddenly upped and sailed to Africa to capture humans they didn't need.

Your suggestion is beyond absurd. And there's a YUGE difference between "slavery" and the transoceanic European model that used human resources from a continent that wasn't even theirs to go exploit another continent that wasn't even theirs.

No reason to believe they would have don anything so dastardly?

Slavery among Native Americans in the United States - Wikipedia

Many Native American tribes practiced some form of slavery before the European introduction of African slavery into North America.[1]

Native American groups often enslaved war captives whom they primarily used for small-scale labor.[1] Others however, were used in ritual sacrifice,[1] usually involving torture as part of religious rites, and these sometimes involved ritual cannibalism

The Irish may have been drunk and smell kinda bad, but I don't think they ever enslaved and ate their captives.

Of course that may have been prior to the invention of the sandwich!

Do you take pills to get this stupid, or do you have a degree in it?

I just got done (i;e. thought I was done) differentiating between intraregional slavery -- which has existed at some time on every continent save Antarctica --- and transoceanic Slavery -- the African kind -- which is a completely different animal and which was invented by Europeans in the sixteenth century specifically to use the resources of one continent to go exploit another continent, neither of which was their own. And the distinction sailed right over your head.

Yet there you are suggesting Native Americans ---- as if that's all one homogenous group, speaking of blind pig-ignorance --- would have sailed off to another continent to bring back slaves they didn't need.

Get back on the Special Bus Dumbass.

Or was that by common citizens owning and bearing military grade guns?

What do you think?

Formed before the FIRST immigration laws were written.
The Act. On August 3, 1882, the forty-seventh United States Congress passed the Immigration Act of 1882. It is considered by many to be "first general immigration law" due to the fact that it created the guidelines of exclusion through the creation of "a new category of inadmissible aliens."

And by the way NOT ONE American that I know is against any person who wants to become a legal American citizen by doing the following:
To become a U.S. citizen, you must:
  • Have had a Permanent Resident (Green) Card for at least five years, or for at least three years if you’re filing as the spouse of a U.S. citizen
    • If you apply for naturalization less than six months before your Permanent Resident Card expires, or do not apply for naturalization until your card has already expired, you must renew your card.
    • You can apply for naturalization before you receive your new Green Card, but you’ll need to submit a photocopy of the receipt of your Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card, when you receive it.
  • Meet certain eligibility requirements including being
    • At least 18 years old at the time of filing
    • Able to read, write, and speak basic English
    • A person of good moral character
  • Go through the ten step naturalization process which includes
    • Determining your eligibility to become an American citizen
    • Preparing and submitting form N-400, the application for naturalization
Taking the U.S. Naturalization Test and having a personal interview

Now nearly 90 million of us Americans including Donald Trump (who's wife by the way is a "LEGAL" naturalized Citizen who followed all the above steps) relatives of mine who laboriously followed the above steps are rightfully disgusted when people evidently like you think we hate immigrants!

We are NOT against LEGAL immigrants that want to give up their own home citizenship, adopt the American flag and not be waving their home country because this is their home
NOW!
What we are against is lazy shiftless people that don't qualify for the above!

The idiot was too dense to understand that the point I was trying to make was the Indians got screwed because they allowed illegal immigrants to come to in.

Immigrants from 3rd world countries form 3rd world countries.

This of course won't matter to the leftists, they hate themselves so much that they would like their country to be turned to a 3rd world shithole.

Which is why, any decent immigration from non-democrat voting first world countries needs to be halted immediately. So stop telling us how you love immigration. You only hate yourselves.

They want third world assholes to come into this country and sign up for welfare and then vote Democrat.

They Democrats are a coalition of all the scum in this country and welfare queens are a substantial demographics of the party.

I guarantee you that if these Mexicans were like the Cubans and coming in and voting for Republicans then these Liberals were be screaming bloody murder.

it's actually a really simple question, what is different today for an immigrant then back in the day? there is but one thing. let's see who is smart enough to answer correctly?

Here is a map of the US in 1883. I would say the country was pretty much already formed before then.

They were not immigrating......they came here because no civilization existed......and when they met people, they were used as soldiers of fortune to wipe out enemy tribes....then they just said fuck it, we're taking over....and thank god they did.....#best country ever.
