Parents Of Michigan High School Shooting Suspect Charged With Four Counts Of Involuntary Manslaughter

If that is true, they're screwed, and rightfully so in this case. It's obvious the kid had problems.
There is no legal prohibition of gifting guns to minor children. What's at issue here is parental control over the weapon, knowing the problems their kid had.

I am sure that the parents of the Negro and Hispanic street thugs are just as responsible for the crimes their kids do as the parents of this kid in Michigan but nobody will ever hold them responsible. It would be racist.
I would agree if their parents bought them the guns.

Yes, and I don’t agree with that - current neuroscience has established beyond doubt that 15 year olds are not culpable at the same level as mature adults of average or higher intelligence.
Charging him as an adult does not remove the parental responsibility for his behavior, because he is clearly a minor under their control - or in this case, allowed to run wild with free access to firearms.

The father bought the weapon that he used to kill all those people.

The gun shop owner said his son was with him to pick it out.

His mother put up a twitter post about taking him to the shooting range to use his new "christmas present."

When the note and drawings of murder and bullets was found by the teacher, she took a photo of it. Then called the parents in to talk about it with the school administration. The school wanted to send him home and he get some mental help.

The parents refused and sent the boy back to class. Where he proceeded to kill and terrorize students.

When the mom heard of the shooting, she sent a text to him saying don't do it. She knew he had a weapon at school. She knew it was him who was doing the shooting.

If she didn't know her text would have been to find out if he was ok.

Instead she texted him telling him don't do it.

Probably some overkill to try to charge the parents...pretty sure these charges will be dropped at some point....

As for Ethan.....if he was bullied....he may have a good case for self defense or at least temporary insanity....however, I doubt he will be a viable Congressional candidate in the GOP for quite some time...

That is the problem. We have spent trillions and trillions of dollars on changing the schools the Prog Socialist way. And the bullying is still there. Only we are rearing more sociopaths and psychopaths because of the destruction of the nuclear family unit even if there are still married couples. With all of the fun an extreme feminist civilization brings. And the taxes....oh the taxes...

He may have had problems but none have been documented so far

I’m confident he had no history of violence or mental illness

Whatever the cost its the only practical way to protect the students
That's what people say until they're given the bill. Would you tolerate you taxes doubling, in order to pay for it?

I think you'd riot in the streets if they tried raising your taxes in order to pay to protect the students.

Many people have posted about getting firearms as children. I'm thinking that their parents if they didn't keep the firearm locked up, at least kept the ammunition locked up, and only gave them to the kid in specific amounts, for specific purposes.

My sons were members of Greenwing and they had guns. Chumbly bought the Gun for his son's early Christmas gift.. Now they are missing.

I started off asking questions but one of the questions legitimately

That should be a question that needs answers. Did she indeed know.

Again...do you ever get tired of clowning yourself all based on your desire to gargle a politician's balls?

There were at least 10 school shootings just last year alone...how many of them did you demand your cult leader be charged for??
10? Are you serious? Most schools were closed all of 2020.

There have been at least 220 school shootings so far in 2021. That’s the real picture of status quo gun crazed America.

The cost (that I estimated) of providing TSA like security to every school, would be the same as the annual DOD budget.

TSA does much more than monitor and search passengers

So your claimed cost is wildly inflated

Bit whatever the cost dont you think childtens lives are worth it?

I saw posted that the parents had DUI's. Certainly a sign that they weren't responsible parents. So it's obvious they wouldn't have more control over their kids behavior, than they had on their own behavior.

I say it because there is no other practical way to protect the students

The very people who refuse to have school security will be the first to scream after the next school shooting

It is begining to appear do

But we can say the same about every criminal on the streets

How would you have prevented this shooting?

Chiefly concerned with air travel, the TSA employs screening officers in airports, armed Federal Air Marshals on planes, mobile teams of dog handlers, and explosives specialists.

The TSA has multiple screening processes and regulations related to passengers and carry-on luggage, including; identification requirements, pat-downs, full-body scanners, device restrictions, and explosives screening.

Part of the TSA budget comes from a $5.60 per-passenger fee, also known as the September 11 Security Fee, for each one-way air-travel trip originating in the United States, not to exceed $11.20 per round-trip. In 2020, this passenger fee totaled $2.4 billion or roughly 32% of the budget allocated by Congress that year

The estimated cost is $5.60 per student per day. Just do the math.

They would be the first to scream when their taxes go up 30% - 50%.
We've seen school budgets voted down because of the cost of optional school programs, like music, or theatre, or after school sports.

Does the DA have armed police protection in courthouse where she works?

I bet she does

All that police protection and metal detectors should be used to protect the children not some lousy politician
Actually, many DAs in America - especially rural America- work in unsecured offices wide open to the public. That’s the condition of many courthouses in rural America, too.
