Politifact: No, the AMA didn't say hydrochloroquine is ok against Coronavirus

What is the point of the thread?
Clearly any doctor can prescribe any drug that has been approved for any human use at all.
And clearly any immuno suppressant, such as used to reduce fevers from malaria, can also help reduce fever and other immune system over reactions, from other illnesses.

When there is an obvious immune system over reaction, causing a cytokine storm, any doctor who does not try hydroxychloroquine to stop it, would have to be incompetent.

Rush Limbaugh started this lie, and the website he cited by corrected its lie.
USMB wasted no time in spreading the lie though.
The AMA considered a resolution to rescind a previous statement on the drug when the group’s policymaking body met in November. But it ultimately rejected the resolution.

The website Limbaugh cited has corrected its story.

I would NEVER believe any "FACTS" put out by Poltifact.org!
A) They are owned by Poynter Institute a non-profit in St. Petersburg, Fl
B) Poynter also owns Tampa Bay times (which before they made the Tampa Tribune go broke and they bought) was St. Pete Times also known as
"Pravda WEST"!
C) Poynter as a non-profit able to sell cheaper advertising than Tribune forced Tribune out!
D) Totally a left wing extremely biased news organization.
E) Look at this web site that has been tracking the grossly BIASED Politifact.org!
Check out some of these total lies Politifact puts out as "Truth"!
We kept the study updated for every year from 2007 through 2019.
For PolitiFact National, claims viewed as false by PolitiFact (rated either "False" or "Pants on Fire") were over 50 percent more likely to receive a "Pants on Fire" rating than one from a Democrat.

So I believe NOTHING from personal experience that Politifact.org states!

Politifact literally disproved Rush Limbaugh by posting the tweet where the AMA points out that what Limbaugh said wasn't true.

But if you want to keep posting charts that show Republicans lie more than Democrats while also demonstrating that politifact documents things Democrats say that aren't true as well then be my guest

You know it's a bullshit story when it starts "No, blah blah blah..."

Fuck it all

Rush is wrong at best...lying at worst

Hyroxy is still NOT a treatment for covid.

Just let it go. Add it to the list of Trump bullshit or not. It is bullshit as far as covid.

If Rush said it, it's the same level of gospel as if Trump had. It doesn't need to he true.

Limpbough doesn't care if he kills his listeners. He's dying from an ironic lack of personal responsibility anyway

Once the RWNJs read or hear a tall tale that verifies their beliefs, it can't be blown out of their rock-hard noggins with dynamite.

#23: White Paper on hydroxychloroquine has not been posted to this thread but has on other threads.

#42: At cytokine storm, it may already be too late.

Politifact accurately stated that the AMA didn't rescind their statement like Rush said they did. It's pretty dumb to make the claim that Politifact are the ones who lied and ignore Limbaugh's false statement. If you want to make the claim that Politifact lied then maybe keep your powder dry for when that happens.

On this one:
Politifact: 1
Limbaugh/Uncensored2008: zip

It's highly unlikely that what Politifraud claims is true and accurate. Generally stories like this are nuanced and leftist propaganda like Politifraud "spins."

Limbaugh spins as well. If I had the desire I'm sure I could find that both sides were less that accurate.

But my point, which you can't seem to grasp, is not the specifics of the story, simply that Politifraud is not an unbiased "fact checker" and rather partisan hacks with an ax to grind.

To wit, the AMA published;

1608300360703.png

Limbaugh and the right took it and ran with it. The AMA is politicized and hard left wing, so their political office released a denial which the radical leftist press, including Politifraud used for their bogus "fact checks."

Notice that the fucking mindless hacks of Politifraud never even mention the above missive? No surprise, the party press has utterly no connection to facts. It took 5 minutes of research on the AMA site to find that, but Politifraud couldn't manage to do it.

That's because they have zero interests in the truth or the facts. An AMA spokeshole gave them the POLITICAL answer that fits their agenda and that of the party, so they published all puffed up as the grand poobahs of truthiness.

The fact is that Politifraud is no different than DailyKOS or any other leftist hate site, they have an agenda that they will distort and outright lie to further.

Though the FDA did say that it’s an issue between doctor and patient.

Limbaugh - via The Blaze - hyped this beyond what was actually written.

However the AMA DID indeed publish a missive on HydroxyChloroquin as a treatment and are now lying about it.

Post 11, its literally directly from the AMA and it's a more recent date and backs up Politifact. You lose again. Same info was in the OP but you chose not to read it.

As stated, the political office got wind and reacted.

Politifraud lied - they, and you , are busted.

What 'political office'? So, now you are inventing a conspiracy that the AMA is purposefully undercutting Limbaugh's statement? You fucking clown. :auiqs.jpg:
