Pop up clinics fill void in care

You owe me a few more datasets first.

Meanwhile, you can content yourself with raw numbers:

Percent of Private Sector Establishments That Offer Health Insurance to Employees
Would that be fast food establishments that only hire part timers? Or regular corporations like Microsoft, Honeywell etc?
Microsoft? 98% Indian Business Visas...no Health Insurance for them.
Ditto IBM, whatever is left of them in the US, that is.
Well yeah if we are counting corporations forced to outsource you can add almost all of the major insurance companies and hospital supply distributors.
Outsource?
Neither one needed to OFF-SHORE.
MS has not produced a meaningful piece of software since 1998.
IBM has not produced a meaningful piece of software since 1968.
Let's not forget Oracle.

I guess the CFO doesn't want to state any specific figures in case this time next year he has to call a meeting and look all solemn and explain how their concern for the poor widdle shareholders means that nobody below the executive suite gets to have health insurance anymore.
What corporations would that be? List them.

The conversation is around major corporations that used to provide health insurance but then decided not to.
Like who?

Indeependent's spoon-feeding you. Be patient.

Some of us have been complaining about that for decades. Don't fault us if you've just now discovered it.

Jobs from the Healthcare industry are directly related to Obamacare.

So you have to go the the Philippines to get healthcare? That sounds serious. Maybe you need a better insurer.

Meaning. They employ those folks but don't have to offer benefits.

That's why they moved business abroad ... you know ...so they could cover other more important expenses related to Obamacare and make the whiny libs that need stuff for free stop crying.

Again, they've been offshoring for decades, primarily to weasel out of paying taxes, and also because they can pay employees in Bangalore a fraction of what they'd pay an American worker and MAKE HUGE GIFTS TO THEIR SHAREHOLDERS.

It amazes me how naive some Americans are about how corporations function.

If Obamacare is so great... Why do we need these again?

Pop-Up Health Clinics Fill a Void in Care
It's a new Business Paradigm.
Most Physicians are being bought up by businesses and only getting 2 year contracts.
Plus their is a doctor shortage that doesn't help. And not all doctors take ACA insurance providers coverage.

No Physician shortage; they are being replaced by Indian Business Visas.
Health is a BUSINESS; nothing more, nothing less.
Conquering the doctor shortage

"America already doesn't have enough doctors, with a shortage of 45,000 forecast by 2020"

No, outsourcing is using an outside firm, even one next door, to perform one or more functions.
Off-Shoring is transporting an actual part of a firm to another country, which is what MANY ex-US firms have done.

Most Doctors make a bit less per patient but no longer need entire departments to contest rejections.
The IDC & CPT Codes and Case Management are more tightly integrated now and a much higher percentage of claims get paid.
Doctors also have to upgrade their facilities to meet national requirements.

This is the same bullshit said about Computer Programmers in the early 80s when Reagan opened the floodgates to the Japanese and Chinese who were replaced by Indians in the late 90s.

Yes. Outsource a dept to ...say..... Xerox who then moves it's business to Mexico.

I'm actually talking about the insurance companies, medical supply distributors etc...

And yes the hospitals do need huge departments to code, process claims, work rejections, collect funds, deal in reconsideration audits, contracts etc. Not just for hospitals but also clinics, ambulance services, physicians offices, hospice and others. Most have business offices of 1200 or more employees.

The Insurance Companies have been pigs since around 2004, GW's 2nd term.
My rates were going up about 20%/Year.
The Health components of the ACA were composed by the Insurance Companies and that's why consumer rates are so insanely high.
I wouldn't every aspect of the ACA is a disaster as per R&D, new equipment, medicines and EMR.
Especially since EMR allows for smaller clinics to operate.

I have no hands on knowledge concerning hospitals as far as rejections and contracts.
I know that Coding, Processing Claims and Audits are easier for private practices now.
My friends took two years to collect Case Management, but after that nightmare they were pretty relieved.
One of the issues with some hospitals is multiple owners; almost like dealing with a co-op.

The hospitals have constant job fairs trying to get technicians, RN's , Doctors, therapists etc...

And still can't fill slots. The professionals just aren't there.

Such is not the case in NYC and vicinity.
I also don't know if you've noticed many hospitals in NYC/LI are hiring young Indians fresh over the boat.
And this is when American Doctors are being released by companies such as Pro-Health.
I never thought I would see the day when Doctors would be Business Visa's out of existence.
